Was a pleasant surprise on this road trip. We ate the buffet. I'm really not high on buffets but it was really good and clean and service was the best. Recommend for anyone if you are in the area .Price was reasonable and very clean restaurant We will go back
Had a good time. My cup never ran empty. Prompt and friendly service. Everything was great. Place was clean and floor was not sticky. Would recommend. Going back again. No smoking allowed inside. The singer that night was great and friendly.
Use to be a good place to eat but has gone down hill. Meat was cold. Everything on the buffet was dry. Kids who eat everything wouldn't barley touch the food. Sad sumter needs a good buffet!
Food was ok, a "southern" buffet. Our waitress was good but busy and the traffic management and flow, especially around the front door and checkout was abysmal at best. There were atleast 4 people behind the register and none of them will bother letting you know that you are in the wrong line even when there theoretically should only be a single line.
I recommended the restaurant to my mom, should have looked over the buffet before deciding on it, at 09:00 little was on the buffet, no pancakes, eggs were old, sausage patties were dry , cheese Danish was rock hard and what my mom thought was ham turned out to be bologna like what hell, waitress said bacon was too expensive for the buffet. If you can't put out a good product you just shouldn't have it, made for a poor experience. Don't know if ordering off the menu would be any better. It's too bad I was hoping it would be good
Food was great and the waitresses were on top of things. However, there were a couple of things concerning to me and others. It looks like if there is an open spot on the floor, they will put a table there. We moved ourselves to booth because our table was at the end of the bar where the line starts, which is also where the path to the kitchen is. Needless to say, chairs kept getting bumped. On the other side of the room a large round table is directly in the path of people walking. The lady at that table could not even get to her seat because of all the foot traffic. Her husband pulled her close to him and put his arm around her to keep her safe. The two high traffic paths were blocked. Needs a redesign!! The manger or owner came by to ask how things were while he was eating something. I watched him go to other tables and he was steady chewing on something while up close to people at tables talking to them. The 3 star rating is an average. 5 star for food and 1 star for design and chewy while talking to your customers.
This is a home cooking buffet restaurant. The service has been excellent the times I've been by to pick up deliveries recently. The food is ready and all I have to wait on is for them make the drinks. Business looks good and customers look happy.
Tried this place for the first time today. Their buffet did not disappoint! Fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, beef stew, rice, mashed potatoes, cabbage, fried pork chops, sweet potatoes, corn bread, green beans and those collard greens. I could eat a whole pot of those collard greens! The salad bar was nice and clean and had good options. Nice to see tuna salad, crab salad and broccoli salad as an option. Service was great and very attentive. We will go back.
waitress was nice but was charged for a fillet mignon(which was ordered) when the steak they brought out was an over cooked sirloin. the owner swore it was a fillet without ever seeing the steak. it also looked nothing like my brothers undercooked fillet that had to be sent back and waited on for another 20 minutes to get back. let’s just say some words was exchanged and the owner didn’t even talk to us. he had his “professional” cook being his guinea pig
Wonderful food, excellent customer service! It was our 1st time eating there but wont be the last!!
