What restaurant closes at 6pm? If you're only going to serve lunch close at 3pm. Sat at the window for 10 minutes while people walked by then finally one opened the window to say they were closed.
Waited at the speaker to order for 10 mins then drove to the window bc other people were in there and waited another 10 mins just to be told they closed at 6. Do better and post signs of new time closure.
I had high hopes for this place, alas, it didn’t happen. I stopped here for lunch (recommended by one of my fellow drivers) and the friendly cashier greeted each of us in our group enthusiastically. The two drivers I accompanied received their lunches promptly. Meanwhile, I was very patiently (and hungrier) waiting on my meal.I ordered one Chicken Tender, Mashed ‘tators & gravy, and two biscuits. The staff kept calling out and bringing other people’s food BEFORE mine and I questioned it. I was curtly told “they’re working on it” by one of the kitchen staff. Ok, I sat back down @ my table and waited patiently some more.Again, I saw more people getting their food before me and I asked about the progress on my food. Keep in mind the two drivers have been eating their food whilst I’ve been waiting on mine.I asked the friendly cashier & she asked the kitchen staff and I heard, rather rudely, “Chicken tenders take 10 minutes to cook!”, okay, hold the line, she LIED to me when she told me they were IN THE PROGRESS making my lunch ?Rather than being informed in the BEGINNING I’d not bug them relentlessly….Docking two stars for the rude kitchen staff, three stars for the sweet cashier and the food, after waiting a decade for it ?
I love the food here, but after 3 times in a row driving 14 miles for the delicious food and finding them CLOSED when they are supposed to be opened, I am seriously considering giving up. If lack of sufficient amount of food is a problem, hire someone who can handle supplying this restaurant with the proper amount of food based off of sales and demand. Something is amiss with this particular franchisee or management. I would HATE to see it close down like so many of the others have done. PLEASE, GET BACK TO BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU HAVE A GREAT CLIENTELE AND FOLLOWING WHO DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU FAIL. Maybe seeing this poor rating will awaken a desire to try harder.
Prices went up portions smaller and only get one sauce if you order large shrimp dinner.Plus never have Mac and Cheese went there 4:30 in the afternoon. Food is good but give me what I pay for $10.20 for large shrimp dinner then I should be able to get 2 tarter sauce not 1 and my half of pound shrimp should look like half of pound.
This was my go to for chicken. Now quality control is no more! Chicken cooked in burned Chicken Grease. Management please don't let this happen to one of my favorite restaurants!
Outstanding customer service is great but there's only one thing if a customer request condiments that's not outrageous then it shouldn't be charged for extra
Soul food plates that are banging.....! Two thumbs up ??!
Good food but tell them how to cook your food. Taste of seafood is great n sides are okay. Tea is sweet.
If you’re in the mood for a delicious, home-cooked type of meal ….. don’t go to the Shrimper. Fish under-cooked, oysters under-cooked, and hush puppies completely over-cooked.
