Ordered uber. Literally got just shrimp because nothing in-stock. Fries?. Out. Green beans?. Ha forget it. 6 in the evening and ya'll are out of items you know you're selling every single day? Get a manager that understands demand and how to keep up with inventory because obviously the person you have doesn't have the first idea of how to manage. Take the items off the menu if you can't supply them!
Horrible customer service. Employee tried to tell me that a wing was dark meat per (their chart) while I was trying to get a refund. The chicken looked like a baby bird. She stated she had no control over the chicken she gets in. I told her I didn't care about that I just wasn't gonna spend $13 for it. Another employee felt the need to comment and run back and tell Another employee and make a scene. Both the manager and employee were rude from the beginning.
Was in town on business Tuesday, 4/12, for the day and decided to stop by Popeye's for a shrimp tackle box. Upon pulling up to the drive thru a lady was the absolute rudest as she asked what we wanted to order, so much so that I figured maybe we should just drive off. We decided to continue with our order and that was a mistake. When we got to the window we saw the lady that was responding over the drive thru intercom. She was a black female with her head shaved around the sides and what appeared to be dreads or braids on top. We ordered 2 shrimp tackle boxes and they gave us 2 surf and turfs. Her attitude worsened when I politely informed them my order was wrong. I know that sometimes people have bad days and some are not equipped with the tools to prevent that from affecting work. I also know that companies are struggling to find employees but her attitude and LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM was unbelievable. She is actually getting paid to be as RUDE AS SHE CAN POSSIBLY BE! Popeye's I encourage you as a brand to PLEASE raise your standards when selecting and keeping employees that represent you countless times a day to customers with voices.
I agree with what was said already, that this location is going down fast. Used to be long lines, but you hardly see anybody in line there now. Service is really bad and the people working there can care less. This place won't be around too much longer if they don't improve in the near future. The people there hate their jobs and it shows in how they treat customers. And management don't exist there, because it's no difference between them and workers, they treat the customers the same. They can take a lesson from the KFC on Liberty Street, everybody there is so nice friendly all the time.
Literally the worst location to go to. It’s always a hit or miss & most of the time, it’s a miss. We are fans of the chicken sandwich and every time we go here, they’re always “out” of them! And the times we go is hours before they close! It’s funny because it’s not like they ran out of the sandwiches either, they’re not even busy enough to run out. This place is never busy or packed with long lines to run out. I know this because one time while I was in drive through, I was trying to order a sandwich & the lady said they were out of them. So I decided to double check at the window (it was a different person than the one who took my order) and asked her, and she said that they do in fact still have sandwiches! I was confused as to why the first person lied to me about running out if they weren’t out in the first place? It just makes it seem like they’re lazy & only tell people that they’re out because they don’t feel like putting in the work for them. Also, another issue is that they are always closed at random times throughout the day, or they’ll tell you that they’re not taking orders for 20-30min which is very inconvenient for paying customers. This place is sad and not even worth the money anymore. It’s THE WORST POPEYES IVE EVER BEEN TO.
Check your bag/bags every time you go to this place! Do not leave their lot until you have ensured your order is correct!
The chicken is clearly old, very dry and hard. The biscuit is also hard as a hockey puck. Didn't get a receipt no hot sauce no honey not even a straw. This isn't the quality of service I usually get there. This was 3-19-2022 at around 2:30 pm if anyone is interested. Maybe it was because I used a survey coupon which btw I gave all high remarks on.
I just... can't deal. I always wait close to a year to go back when I get the taste for it, hoping a new round of employees will be better. Unfortunately for me, that's never the case. They are ALWAYS distracted at the window (not with taking other orders), and the food is always hit or miss in the same box. Fresh biscuits with old chicken or vice versa. I just wish people doing these jobs would care more and think about the service they would like when they eat out. This is why eating out is extremely occasional for me.
This place is a hit a or a miss, but most likely a miss. I've never seen anyone, seem to be in charge, and there usually is alot of chaos, with no system in place. I think they need a visit from corporate or this restaurant will not last long, unfortunately.
I swear common sense wasn’t an application question for this establishment. Stood in the lobby for 10 minutes and not a single soul said the lobby was closed for orders. Myself and another lady waited to order. I was only told it was closed when I asked if someone was coming to take my order.
