Read reviews that were either saying this place has the best food in Sumter or it made the reviewer sick. Unfortunately I’m swaying to the sick side of that, all 3 of the party had various different meals and all felt bad afterwards, service was quick, staff were super friendly and attentive but the food just lets this place down. It’s hard to say what the exact issue is, the food just tasted like it might make you ill and my stomach has felt pretty uneasy since. Would highly recommend going here just for a drink, the bar area is super quirky and a great space, inside and outside. there is a huge range of drinks in the fridge and the staff are great!
Christian was a great waiter! Lots of fried seafood on the menu, but you can request grilled instead. Shrimp Grit-Cake appetizer was absolutely fantastic! 2 people who ordered tacos were a little disappointed in them. 3 people ordered seafood baskets were very happy with theirs. One pork chop special got rave reviews! And the grilled mahi was delicious. Overall a very good meal & experience.
Absolutely amazing! Seriously some of the best food I've ever had. We had a work dinner here and it was fantastic. The service was also top notch.
No complaints about the service but the food left much to be desired. The bacon wrapped scallops were a bit gamey that evening... so bad the entire meal was left untouched. I made it known to the waitress but she acknowledged and went on her way. Also I don't suggest seating outside the main entrance since the seating is quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately my entire party of 8 found the food to be over priced and a bit disappointing. Maybe you'll have better luck.
We found this restaurant when our original place for dinner was very full, with an 2 hr wait. We looked up another place, the wait was 30 minutes. So we tried the oysters house out. It was very good. We will be back
We were in town visiting our family and we made a quick decision to have dinner here. We had about a 20-minute wait on a Friday night which isn't too bad. Christian was our server, and he did a great job. I'm not sure how he remembers all of the specials on the menu but somehow, he does. We enjoyed the shrimp nachos for a starter and then each of us enjoyed a little different seafood entree. We all enjoyed our meal and will return on our next visit.

Great food, although I thought a little pricey...food for 2 adults and 3 kids was $150 plus tip, but that included cocktails.Food was awesome, service was awesome, and atmosphere was awesome!! We sat outside and we enjoyed the same exceptional fast service as we would have had indoors!Drinks were good but a little pricey we thought. Our waitress was sweet and attentive!! Kudos Brianna!
Bartender was very professional friendly and accurate waiter was as well my first time there and I'm definitely going back
My first visit on 3 years. The price for my shrimp and grits has gone up about 30%. Ordered the shrimp and grits. The amount of grits were at best 1 cup with 6 very small shrimp. Not The amount of food as previously. The seasoning is Great. Just missing something to cover.
