This place is located off of Broad St. in Sumter, it is in the same plaza as Firehouse Subs and Ultra Tan. It opens at 11 a.m. and it offers a wide variety of Japanese food including Sushi, I ordered the California Roll. The portions were good for the price but I found the food average. It has a dining area and the place looks very clean and maintained.
The food is always top notch! I order the steak bowl and california rolls. On point everytime? I want to also thank this restaurant after my doordash driver ole dusty Abigail stole my order? I refunded and of course ordered again and really appreciated the California rolls ya'll included! You didn't have to but that geniune gesture made us customers for life❤❤ Thank ya'll again and if you haven't stopped here yet do so! You won't be disappointed! We have also dined in and it was just as good!
One of my FAVORITE places to eat! Best hibachi food in my opinion! And the sushi is very good as well! The Jr. Steak bowl is what I always get and it never disappoints! Love the people there too!
I would rate lower if possible, this is the third time I have spent $50 on ordering your food and the third time I wasn’t given any sauce even though I ask for extra sauce every single time. Hire employees that actually pay attention. Some people work hard for their money and don’t need it to be wasted on poor service. Thanks for nothing again.
Good quality and pricing for food. Polite and friendly staff. We haven't had to wait on an order for more than 15 minutes - even when busy. We eat here frequently and use the loyalty program!
First time here and I ordered food to go. Service was quick, the steamed shrimp dumplings in particular were awesome and the tempura shrimp roll and California roll were ok too. Things that I didn't care for was the owner (or manager?) reprimanding one of the young employees in the kitchen within earshot of waiting customers, (if you haven't been here before, the open kitchen is immediately behind the order counter), there are certainly better ways of training staff!!Other that, my order was incomplete when I got home, the quantities of sushi rolls was mixed up.So, would I go back again? Hmmm...jury's still out. Maybe (for the shrimp dumplings!!).
It's been awhile since I been here but the food and the service is on point as always. Wonderful staff and very clean.
I ordered the Poki bowl and I'm headed back there for another round. I didn't find it on the main menu at first and noticed it advertised off to the side. They should really give that dish center stage... it was that good.

So, I don’t usually write bad reviews, but do I have some information about my last visit to share with you. I will try to keep this as short as possible.My two friends and I were having a girls lunch and decided to eat at this restaurant. I have been at least 20 times before and never had a bad experience with them.So my two friends ordered their food first and waited at the counter for me to order. Before I got the chance to order, a roach about the size of a quarter crawls across the counter. Instead of killing it, the cashier SWIPES THE ROACH TO THE FLOOR. At this point I told my friends that I wasn’t going to eat here anymore, and they proceeded to ask the same cashier for a refund. We did not think a refund would be unreasonable considering my friends hadn’t even received their food yet.The cashier told us she did not know how to file a refund, and had to call the manager over the phone. It took about 20 minutes to file the refund. How is it that you leave the store unattended with employees who don’t know how to do a simple task?Anyways, I always looked forward to eating at this restaurant. My fiancé and I had a rewards card that we used points on all the time. Unfortunately, I do not take this thing lightly, and it needed to be addressed. I will not be eating at a restaurant with bugs making it’s way all around the store. I have worked at plenty of restaurants before so I can understand a bug or two.. but everything about this situation was handled poorly. I hope I can make it back to this restaurant again, but as of right now it’s a big fat no.
