Wouldn't have written a review, but this isn't the first time I've had issues. Night shift/morning shift is wonderful but when it comes to afternoon shift, they CANNOT get it right! I'm pregnant & been craving a quarter pounder from McDonald's. I wanted a plain burger with no cheese, and I even asked twice if the lady could make sure it was plain with no cheese bc it didn't say no cheese. There is NO reason I should've had it made 3 times as it's a complete waist of food. It's not complicated, I literally work in fast food. When I noticed the cheese the lady said "you can just take the cheese off we don't have time to remake it". Ma'am the cheese is melted onto the burger & I am lactose intolerant. I mean I will be on the toilet for hours sinking up the entire apartment complex that's right across the street. Anyways, she asked me to pull forward. 10 minutes go by, so I backed up to the first window. She hands me a burger with everything but cheese. They have to remake it again and she says "you can come inside to get it because we have a line". It's almost 100 degrees outside, and I have 2 kids in the car, the reason I'm in the drive through to begin with. On top of the burger, they always forget apple slices in the kids meals & I have to ask for drinks that they forget to give me. Me nor my nieces will be back anytime soon.
Wondering if it's company protocol for manager's (Ebony, I believe) to scream and curse at their employees in front of customers and other staff. I was under the impression hostile work environments were a great way to get EEOC on the scene. Perhaps corporate needs to get involved because this used to be the best McDonald's in Sumter!
Been to this location last week. I'm truly disappointed in the manager that works in the evening around 5:00 pm. I literally heard her curse out a teenager over some chicken nuggets. Every other day I would come to this location to get a Filet-O-Fish meal. I won't be returning I will just go to the McDonald's further up the street. I hope this manager truly gets reprimanded for her actions.
Customer services sucks management don’t enforce rules or customer service they give out old food and argue with customers employees go out with gloves on and don’t change them when coming back in they continue to work with the nasty gloves on they allow they crew to be disrespectful more playing around den doing they job not a satisfied customer at all wouldn’t feed my dogs nothing from this location EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!
The bacon on my cheeseburger sat under the heat light too long. Otherwise it was really good. Fresh tomatoes and lettuce. I'll be back!
If I could give a zero i would. Ordered a double fish got one fish with no dressing. Order a diet coke got a regular Dr Pepper.
We stopped in for a Big Mac and Double Cheeseburger combo. Everyone was so friendly. We changed tables and one young lady was so concerned that it might be dirty but thats not why we moved. The first table was marked as a handicap seating so we decided not to sit there but it was so nice that she cared about us.
This McDonald's is consistently very good. 9 times out of 10 they get us thru very quickly. And so far my order has always been correct.
First one I ate at in a longggg time that was worth it. Food was fresh line was long but they were fast. Workers were decent!
McDonald’s food has to be requested as cook to order because they will give you food that’s been up there for awhile that’s cold or just not fresh but otherwise their ice cream shakes are great if the machine is operating right because most of the time the machine is down and that sucks overall I rate that as of five
