Fantastic Atmosphere. Great Food. The bartender definitely makes you feel like home. Great selection of Burgers to choose from. Location is beautiful and really shows what Sumter has to offer. Prices are reasonable, especially for the amount of food you receive.(note, there were more onion rings but I got hungry before the pic)

We relocated from Florida recently and we were introduced to After Hours for the first time. What an amazing place! So thankful for this fun and welcoming night life spot right here in the downtown of Sumter! Scott is absolutely fantastic and made us feel welcome! I was impressed that he was the owner and still so chill and just a great guy! He talked to us about other places to try and other things to experience. Very grateful for his hospitality and this will be our regular hang out! Drinks were excellent and bartenders were rockstars!

If you are a sports buff, great place to go as the walls are covered with sports memorabilia and all tv's are tuned to sports. We are told most of the wall memorabilia involves sports figures with a direct tie to South Carolina. Bobby Richardson in particular is featured. The food is ok, but nothing different than you could make at home. Pulled pork taco is covered in grocery store cole slaw, the pork bland except for the South Carolina style vinegar bbq sauce, which is pretty good, and a lot of ground up cheese of no distinction. What really grills my meat is I’m paying for a meal in a sit-down restaurant and they bring me plastic. Please, I’d like real flatware and a real plate. Our server was dynamite: personable, efficient, and took time to visit with us.

Absolutely the worst experience I can remember ever having... We were told we would have to wait an hour to be seated, even though the restaurant was half empty and they were seating other customers that came in after us. Then 10 minutes later, we were told we had to stand outside in the heat on the sidewalk with 2 kids under the age of 10. We literally waited almost 2 hours for nothing. Will NEVER go here again! I feel we were discriminated against and beyond disrespected.

The staff was cordial and polite. Our server was prompt and efficient. The blue cheese fries were excellent. My wife got a burger which was decent but on the dry side. I got a chicken sandwich which was incredibly dry to the point that I couldn't eat the chicken. Presentation was on point but quality of food was not the best. I'll likely give this place a try again at some point because Sumter is so limited.

The wait was forever! So long, that we went across the street to a sports bar and had a drink while waiting. Then waited more in a nearby park. Then come to find they'd passed us by. They said they'd called our phone. They didn't. I was ready to bail, but we'd waited so long, it was too late to go elsewhere. About 5-10 minutes after they seated us, they called us- to say they had a table! By now, I'm rather annoyed. But when I took that first bite, I shut up! That was an EXCELLENT meal! I see why the place is so highly rated. In their defense, it was the weekend of the air show, and an extra 50,000-100000 people were supposedly in the area. They were packed- possibly overwhelmed. The air show was the first in a few years- because of Covid. I don't know what their normal attendance looks like, but I know good food. The next time I'm in town, we WILL be back.

During our visit 8:00 on a Monday most of the people there were drinking. We had heard they had great burgers and they certainly did. The only thing that stopped us from giving it 5 *'s was the sub-par service which was generally corrected with a complaint. We had to complain 3 times, get menus, take order, and get check.

Awesome variety of burgers, with easy option to swap in grilled chicken or black bean patty. Garlic aioli that comes with fries is delicious! Staff shirts are hilarious!

The food is great, the beer is cold and the bar tenders and wait staff are great. Highly recommend! Hi Scott and Drew.

Fantastic burgers and great drink selection. I highly recommend their garlic aioli. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality.
