I went here for my graduation on May 26, 2022 and will say I won't be returning to this place ever again. Never got my food served and waited an hour and forty something minutes but they served everyone else but my family. Asked the server what up with it and the server was rude at the point she kicked us out of the restaurant. The place was extremely dirty and I think this place need to be trained better. Very disappointing as I really liked the place and sometimes come this place to eat. Ruined my graduation and ruined my day that night. Giving a one star is very generous as I wish I can give this place zero stars. Very disgusting and disappointing. Poor service and bad customer care.
This location [AS I'VE NOTICED AND MANY OTHERS] have been on a real decline. Short staffed with many not even being open after what seems 10pm. Many have notices on the door saying takeout only. This particular location on the night of 10.29.2022 was very just non chalant about everything. Not a clean table or counter in sight. Patrons though patient, were NOT even acknowledged. After about 25mins of waiting, and overhearing that the couple in front of me was waiting on a to-go order placed 40mins prior and had not been cooked yet. Well finally I just left for another location, somewhat the same but was finally served COLD unsatisfactory food... What is going on in these United States ❔️❔️
THIS WAFFLE HOUSE IS Racist! I am US. ARMY Combat Veteran working at Boeing and a Rideshare driver. Had a long day choose to eat this waffle house unfortunately, at 1908 N Main St Summerville SC. So I'm black, I walked in there and there were four white people there and one of the employees told me "you can only get take out". I asked why? The dumb lady said "well because the District manager not here" I'd told her I've eaten here before and she said "I don't care the district manager is not here while I'm looking about four white people eating in. My last time going to that waffle house or just stop going waffle house's period. I just have to cook my own dame breakfast, be better anyways.
We went in at 1 this afternoon for a waffle. First thing we noticed was half of the restaurant was sectioned off with no one sitting in it. Even though they had 4 waitresses and two cooks. (I think that's fully staffed). Eventually when people waiting started to pile up(like 10 minutes)they opened the rest up. So I was like wierd but ok. I ordered an All Star she took my order and then right at the end said they are out of waffles. Now I was with my daughter and we came for a waffle, the name of the restaurant is waffle house, How do you run out of waffles?! I learned that it was because early shift was busy and didn't make time to prepare the batter. So the later shift got the shaft. Either way bad management or something. Everyone working there was nice, but that only goes so far. Also they charged me full price for the waffle that I didn't get.
That was delicious, a beautiful young lady waited on me and I really enjoyed the service
The services was good and the food was also ok. The online orders and call in orders seem more important then the customers sitting in the restaurant. Should be the other way around I think. Not sure if I will go back.
We ordered the steak breakfast meal. The food was quick and delicious. My steak was, also, nice and juicy. The employees were very nice.
The staff is young and lazy. Walked in 4am every table had dirty dishes and not crowed. They did take out only but when there friends stopped by they hooked them up. Be scared!!
There was only 2 people working. The waitress was very very very patient and professional. Megan is a star. The cook and her really worked together with her lead!!!!! Great employees!!!!
This Waffle House on North Main Street in Summerville is a great place to go for everything that you expect in a Waffle House and more. The staff here is very friendly and works hard to make sure that you get a good meal. Consistent experience every time I have been here.
