Arrived at tropical smootie this morning at 7:23 and the young lady working told me that they were having a late start this morning.. I asked her when she expected to open and she said as soon as she counts the money.. I then said what time will that be and she said 7:45.. 2 people left after waiting. Another lady had ordered one to pickup but had to cancel it because she had to be at work... The smoothie tasted great, but when the hours say 7am.. It should be 7am.
Giving five stars for the two gentlemen last Saturday June 4, who were on their own with a drive thru line around the block and about 20 people all at once in the store. They were moving and giving great service and we’re still kind and accommodating under such duress. And I still got my larger order for my team in about the same amount of time I have waited in other occasions. Give those dudes a bonus!!!!
Only giving 3 stars because of the poor kid diligently working all by himself. There are 3 online orders waiting as well as a line in the drive through. There are 5 people waiting inside. This kid should be given a bonus!! I feel sorry for him. The owners should close off online orders and only have drive through open if it is short staffed. Or get your butt in here and help this employee.
I would leave 0 stars if I could, ordered from here today and literally when my coworker went to pick it up for me the young lady at the counter rolled her eyes several times and said they didn't have my order, even showed the receipt and everything she said she would wait for them to make it and she did but the customer service by far is the worst. Tropical smoothie please train your employees what customer service is and how to act because by far this is the worst tropical smoothie there is. I will not return I'll go to a different location.
This is easily the worst Tropical Smoothie Cafe I have ever been to. I’m literally waiting in the drive thru and have been for 30 minutes and this is no exaggeration. There was only 2 cars in front of me when I pulled in. I understand there’s a staff shortage out there but this is insane. Whoever’s the manager is I’m beginning you to address this. I love the food here but it’s not worth it when I can sit at a restaurant and get faster and better service.
Just be prepared to wait 25 minutes at minimum for anything you order, no matter how many people are there. Crazy how no other tropical smoothie I’ve been to had this problem, yet this location does every single time.If you have to put a sign in your drive-thru thanking people for their patience, you might want to rethink your business plan.
The fact that it takes long to get my food is one thing. I could get over that if the customer service from Thomas wasn't so rude, obnoxious and disrespectful. He got our order wrong and attempted to just give us our smoothies when we ordered two meals, then when we asked them to correct it, only to come back with one meal and quickly left the window, leaving us waiting in drive thru for ten minutes until I came inside. Only to be greeted with him over talking me when I'm trying to explain my dissatisfaction. I had to actually be the one to deesculate the issue by just requesting for my money back as he continued with the sly remarks. I then asked his name to report his behavior to corporate only to get his response of "Oh you can call corporate, they know me, they know who I am" I guess to imply that this is the behavior and professionalism you all condone. No smoothies one day, chunks of ice in smoothie another day and now Thomas poor customer service today. Will not be returning.
This location is always a train wreck from consistency of their product to customer service. It never fails that drive thru waites are extremely long compared to the other locations. The hours posted are not honored, being told and hour and a half before close that the kitchen is closed, to showing up at 7pm and they have closed early more than once.I want to like this place. I love the other locations but today may have been their last chance. I waited 20 plus minutes to try and order only to be greeted by bad customer service... again.
By far the worst tropical smoothie I've ever been to. Sad because I just moved here and would eat there all the time if I wasn't sighed at with rolling eyes every single time I come through the door. Walked out twice from standing AT THE REGISTER for almost 20 minutes and was COMPLETELY IGNORED! Pathetic! It wasn't busy AT ALL. One person inside (obviously waiting way too long for one smoothie) and one car in the drive through for also one smoothie. 3 workers and are the reason this place WILL fail. If the owners care about their customers at all they'll respond to these comments with something other than a copy and paste response asking how to make the experience better... WE'RE ALL TELLING YOU HOW, RESTAFF!!!!!!UPDATE***When a past employee posts a review that says she quit due to horrendous work ethics and half the food they serve is expired.... Seriously can't believe anyone would ever eat here again. This place will be gone, and rightly so, very soon.
I see already a bunch of complaints about the drive through but it looks like they are not doing anything about, 25 minutes to get one smoothie a such simple food, there Is no space for drive too, cars are blocking 2 streets, fix that or leave the space to other faster businessI called the manager and he said there is not he can do about it and hang out in my faceI eat at least 3 times at tropical smoothie around charleston and this place so far is the worth
