Four of us came here for breakfast before going to the airport. The five minute wait we were told by the hostess turned into a 20 minute wait. There were quite a few empty tables. They clearly were understaffed as many places are but some of the staff members definitely needed some training in making their use of time more productive. Anyway...our waitress was friendly and efficient. Their Bacon Wrapped Hushpuppies served with honey butter were delicious! We'd order them again! The Corned Beef Hash is not prepared in a traditional way but excellent and flavorful. The herb bread is a great alternative to regular toast. Loved the flavor and texture. My friend said the Bloody Ninja was delicious and she enjoyed the Veggie OFO. The CFS Benedict portion was huge and my friend said he'd have it again. If it hadn't been for the long initial wait, I would have given the rating a 5.
Service was very slow, and the food was meh. My husband had the Eggs Benedict, which was okay. My son & I, however, had French Toast which, unfortunately, we didn't like at all. We like our French Toast soaked through in the egg batter so that it's moist in the middle. This was very dry in the middle, almost as if somehow only the outer part of the bread was dipped in the egg.We used to dine here all the time, but stopped because the service was usually not very good. After a couple of years, we figured we'd try again. Wish I could say it was a better experience this time, but no such luck. Maybe we'll try again in another couple of years.
The bagels are made by a cook from Jersey! He said he never made bagels the whole entire time he ever worked in Jersey and came here and now that's what he does! Their homemade everything bagel is totally on point! The scallion cream cheese is the bomb! This right here is my cheat! Very friendly staff, they make you feel very welcome. Would recommend them to anyone who comes to visit Summerville or who lives here. They are closed on Mondays but they are open Tuesday through Sunday. The inside has a nice family atmosphere.

Very busy. Good waitress however Eggs came out over easy instead of medium. Forgot salsa and grits that came with breakfast burrito

When I visit Sunrise Bistro I end up with 2 entrees… I don’t know why. We’ve visited twice and get the Fried Green Tomatoes both times. Everything is good but not quite for everyone, my wife loves traditional breakfast, but Sunrise for her is a little over the top. I’ve had one of their variations of Shrimp and grits and liked it. The portions are big even for this big eater. So if you like large portions and a different take on breakfast, give them a shot.
