For the price and the area, I expected better. We paid $10 for chips and guacamole and barely received any guac. We were disappointed especially as most Mexican restaurants complimentary serve chips and salsa. As far as the entrees, the quesadilla was flavorful but the carne asada steak bowl was bland and the rice was undercooked. I will say the restaurant does have a wonderful atmosphere.

Amazing drinks and location. Server was kind and attentive to us. We cameSemi hung over and got some bloody Mary’s which were the best ! With a brown sugar rim and all of then fixings. They served us a shrimpAnd grits brunch entree which was a fried grit cake and we didn’t really care for that… it was a unique idea but poor execution but otherwise delicious food and a good spot!

I had the sea bass and it was delicious. Service and price were great! I recommend. It was not crowded and they have happy hour prices for drinks.

Our first time here. From appetizers to dessert, everything was just great! Service was friendly, fast and not missing a beat. I would definitely recommend this place. I had the sea bass and it was a home run. My husband had the Salmon, also freaking amazing. Salted caramel and an Apple empanada later, yum. Waddled back to our bed and breakfast. I wish we had this restaurant back in Kalamazoo Michigan.

Love love love this place! A friend and I stopped in when I visited Charleston, and it's just so darn good. The atmosphere, the service, and the food are all great. We split the nachos with cheese and chorizo, which was really to die for, and then I ordered their shrimp and grits as an entree. When I tell you it's the best dang shrimp and grits I've ever had, I'm not kidding. SO good!

The ingredients weren't good. Probably processed, frozen, canned, etc. Definitely not fresh. Also my order was wrong. It looks like they spent a lot of money to make it look like a much better restaurant than it is. I'd rather it go to the food if you have to choose.

Edit: Rating Changed to reflect the management response to this was "sounds like they were trying to get out of there".The hours online said they closed at 11, so we arrived a little before 9:30. The sign on the door said that the kitchen closed at 10 and the bar closed at 11. We sat at the bar and ordered food before drinks so as to be as polite as possible to the kitchen. We ordered drinks and our food arrived. All was great until 10:08, when the bartender asked "do you want another drink before last call?" My friend asked about dessert and she said she wasn't sure if they could make that happen. I asked her to check and I would make a decision about another drink while she did. Someone else brought out the dessert and no one else interacted with us again until 10:30 when they asked if we were finished with our glasses and brought our check. I was very disappointed by the service even though the food was very delicious.

The food here is very good and fresh. We had the bang bang shrimp bowl, the steak tacos and the grilled sweet potatoes. We will eat here again. Our server was very friendly!

I love Sol!! I couldn’t wait to eat. We came in for brunch. First our appetizers came out before our cocktails. The restaurant was fairly slow pace. We ask for serving plates to split the appetizers. We were almost finished when we flagged down another waitress. Not sure if she had a bad day or tired. Food was amazing per usually. But service made meal 3* instead of 5

My husband and I stayed at the hotel nearby this Tex mex restaraunt and it was very convenient. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. Drinks were a little pricey, but quite yummy. The only reason I give this place one star is because I am concerned for the safety of the staff. We sat near the drink station and overheard an employee saying the manager on duty had Covid. Very disturbing as I did not see one mask on any person in the building. Needless to say we won’t be going back till healthier times. I hope the customers who visit and staff take better pre cautions in the future
