Was visiting the area and was looking for a place to stop in for a burger. It has a small dining area but the burger was fantastic.I ordered the chili cheeseburger and it didn't disappoint. Never had one before where they pour the chili over the bun and all but I loved it.The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It's worth trying out and would return again.
We went for dinner. We tried Matt’s “famous” chili and it was really pretty good. We shared the “Big daddy” burger, a ½ pound burger with cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and pickles. It was a very good burger. The sweet potato tots are unique and I thought very good. They are sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar, giving them an even sweeter flavor, so if you don’t like to mix your sweet and savory, you may not like them. Prices are reasonable and service was good.
Definitely one of, if not the best, burger spots in Summerville. I had Matt's Special and the spicy cheese didn't disappoint. Fries really seal the deal with special seasoning, but I was disappointed they didn't come with my burger. Also recommend going for the double as the regular left me wanting more, even though my wallet and stomach thanked me for sticking with the regular.
The food here is delicious and has a lot of flavor! The fries are served hot and fresh and you can tell that all of the food is homemade. Serving sizes are plentiful and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I will definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends!! If you're a visitor and new to Summerville this is a must place to visit!!
Burger was crispy bun was good. Pricey though.10$ for a Burger, 5$ for fries not many fries. Average amount medium drink was average price for a large @$2.50. $19 bill for one person.

This was my first time at Matt’s. I had the chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. The whole meal was very good I only got a half order of fries and that was more than enough. This place is pretty small and fills up quickly. The waitress staff were top notched. Definitely going back
It is a small dinner with 4 or 5 tables set up outside . They have a variety of foods and a kids menu. They serve beer . They are closed on Sundays.
