Came here for my sisters 24th birthday, the food was good, but the service was awful. There was only 4 of us.... asked for my margarita frozen got it on the rocks, and it tasted only like syrup which was disappointing. My friend didn't get his margarita until almost the end of our meal, it was obviously forgotten about. Which would have been fine, because we just reordered it and the one he got had obviously been sitting for a while. We were there for a little over 2 hours, which we were only hoping to be there for 45 minutes to an hour. We only saw our server about 4 times throughout our meal. At first we thought she was the only server, but we looked around and noticed she was not the only one there. Also the table next to us that had gotten there after us and had more people got their food and check much faster than us, wish we had their server. At the end our server asked us if we wanted boxes, we said yes and the check. It took her I wanna say about 8 minutes to do this, but it took her about 4 minutes to bus our table. I saw here more when she was cleaning our table then throughout the whole time of us being there. We left very unhappy and annoyed, we could have literally gone to La Haciendas and had basically the same food, but way better service. We probably won't be returning. I suggest that the server julia needs retraining or something not acceptable
I ordered the Texas rice which describes that it comes with cheese sauce. When I received mine there was little cheese sauce on my dish, so I requested some more to be put on it. They did bring me more...like a small cup you would put jello shots in. To my surprise I was charged 2.50 for what should have been included on my meal. My daughter asked for some sour cream and was charged 1.50. I know it does not seem like alot, but I do not believe that you should be charged for something that you should have gotten with the meal as stated.
Staff was very nice. Restaurant was clean and looked nice! The food, kind of disappointing. Not bad, just not that good. Everything kind of tasted the same and very bland. Almost like they don't use seasonings. I know some Restaurants don't use seasonings BUT Mexican food is supposed to have seasons and spices and a kick to it. El Patron Jr is still hands down my fav in this town but this is a good back up when they aren't open & if my mom comes to town, she likes NO spices or kick to her food, I may take her here, she would love it!
We decided to go as a family for Mother's Day. There was no wait, but the service was a little slow. The food was delicious and the server was kind and accommodating. My margarita was great....I almost ordered a second one. I didn't take pics, as usual. We were starving by the time the food came. I had the Burrito Californiano and I would most definitely order it again.
Lost A Customer! We are new to town and love Mexican food, we were excited to have a Mexican restaurant that we could drive to on the golf cart. We came in today for the first time and my husband was headed in the door as a server came out, he told us we could sit anywhere and because we are around an elderly person and a baby we wanted to sit outdoors so we sat outside on the patio and we were ignored for a good 10 minutes as 3 servers came and went. My husband got up and walked to talk to a young man server and he was very nice and apologized, he said something to the male outdoor server and basically the outdoor server said he ignored us because “they didn’t go inside” so my understanding is he intentionally chose to ignore us versus asking us to go inside first even though we had already asked. We attempted twice to call the restaurant to talk to the manager after we left and the phone was not answered.
EXCELLENT FOOD EXCELLENT SERVICE
Been coming here since 2009, at least once a month with the family. Service is quick and good, food is awesome (never skip the table side guacamole!), never have had a bad experience (which I can't say for other restaurants in the area). Have tried almost everything on the menu, never disappointed.****Update 01/31/2022- Still coming in atleast once every two weeks. New menu items keep me venturing into new experiences!!
Would have given 5 stars except for the food. I had chicken fajitas, no bell pepper. I guess bc I asked for no pepper they thought it would need some more flavor and stuck a bay leaf in it. I kept tasting that and it wasn't good. Its been a while since I've been here and used to love it. It was very packed and the price has went up. They messed my ticket up, too, and charged for two cheese dips.
Not sure why I've never ate here in the 22 years I've been in the area, but this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I've ate in the area. I had the Texas rice. This could've been shared; it was so much food. Leftovers are great too, though
Was so tired after a long day so me n the girl went out after work!!So lets say I just wanted the food didnt really matter about the place. They just updated there patio's outside. So summer time I will be back to eat outside!!!...Oh and yes yes yes it was ??Great food!!Left happy n full.
