We decided to try this Bar b que restaurant last night. The food was awful. I usually do not make negative reviews. I like to see all small businesses do well. We paid $40 for 2 plates. My husband ordered brisket and I ordered pulled pork. He said his was just like my pulled pork, but his cost I think 6 more $. The pork didn’t taste of any smoke or bar b q, more like cooked in the oven. We had hash and rice and Mac and cheese and Lima beans for sides. The Mac and cheese was edible. The hash was so nasty we didn’t even eat it. It tasted scorched and full of ketchup or something. The Lima beans were not canned or frozen, they were dried beans that tasted like they were burnt and were mush. Very disappointing. We recently moved to town and we always want to try the new restaurants, especially Bar B Que in new places. Maybe it was bad timing but we will not bother to try again. I wish we had taken pictures.

Stopped in on my way to Myrtle Beach this past week. Have been meaning to come here for awhile. I'm sure glad I did. I had the brisket sandwich, hash and rice, apple pie, and his pork wings. OMG!!! The brisket was just right, the hash and rice was some of the best that I've ever had, and the pork wings were some of the best things that I've ever eaten. It was a fantastic lunch as I got to eat and visit with the owner as him and I have been friends for years. I will definitely be back and will try to bring a group with me next time.

Went when they first opened. Not surprised by the negative reviews..I hate it for the owners who put so much into fixing the place up nice...however. pre cooked microwaved...I spent $19.00 one brisket meal with 2 sides...plus tip...I got 2 pics thin not very good brisket...1 small ice cream scoop of Mac and cheese...ok but pepper the dominant flavor...1 small scoop of coleslaw. .seriously, vinegar and cabbage..js. never went back...

Wife said brisket was good. My burnt ends were beyond recognition burnt. They did tell me there was only one serving left. I should have had the brisket. They were out of ribs @6pm Saturday.

Ledyard's BBQ is the hidden gem you REALLY don't want to miss!!! The restaurant is tucked away in a nice quiet area outside of Summerville. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner is a great guy with a big personality who will make sure you don't leave hungry. You can tell he has an real passion for serving up the best southern BBQ you've ever tasted!!! We will definitely be going back.

A whole in the wall, locally owned BBQ gem! Have driven by several times, but finally stopped this weekend and it did not disappoint. Bones were simply falling out of the food as tender and we'll cooked the food was. Homemade sauces were delicious. And don't even get me started about the brisket chili! Owner had his hand in it all, including the customer experience. Definitely give them a try. We'll be back for sure.

Scrumptious. Tried a lot of the sauces and the mustard sauce ??? hands down my fav. Great chicken and ribs, great chili and I also really enjoyed the mac n cheese & baked beans

Meh. The place is very clean but also very empty. Went for my birthday as the owner used to live in my old neighborhood. I got the brisket which was…not that great. No real smoke to it and only 3 little pieces for $25. Couldn’t even smell smoke. It’s like everything was made the day before and heated up in the microwave by a couple of teenagers that worked their. There is no alcohol license so you have to go next door to purchase also.

Finally tried this place today. Very clean, Courteous and friendly staff. BBQ was very good. Don't miss the pig wings. They were great. Will definitely go back.

Saw a new local bbq place opened and wanted to support them. Tried them for dinner one night. It was terrible. The portions were full of grease and so small. And the worst part was for two of us it was well over $40 and we were still hungry when we left ! I do not recommend them at all. Should have just driven a little further to Bakers Barbecue. They give so much food you’ll have take a to go box home. You get unlimited tea and will have money left over for dessert. Won’t be making that mistake ever again…
