Incredible food and wonderful service! It is my favorite place to take friends/family that are new to sushi... They can try so much and all for a flat cost. Thank you King's Sushi for being here in Summerville!
If you want a fair to middling strickly controlled all you can eat pretend asian/ japanese sushi restaurant then this is the place for you. Im not against the premise of the place but being told you can eat all you want as long as you eat all we give you to be able to eat more, is anoying. Having a psuedo japanese restaurant run by non Asian workers and servers was also interesting. As you can see by my pictures, i have never had sushi sliced as thin as it was here. If you are on a keto diet then don't come here as they tell you that; "if you don't eat the rice given with the sushi ? then you cant order more. But the fish was sliced so thin i didn't bother ordering more anyway. If you want sashimi, then it is 75cent extra charge on top of the 15 dollar plus charge for the lunch "all you can eat" charge. The pot stickers weren't half bad, and the spring rolls were just a little bigger than my finger. I really didn't want to order multiple 10 piece sushi rolls just to try an assortment of what they had to offer though. And the Korean hibachi beef was cut in such small pieces that i couldn't get it cooked less than well done little cubes the size of my little finger tip. I didn't want it with rice but was given rice anyway with the assumption that if i didn't eat the rice the ordering eas suspended. Would i go back? Yes, if i was in the mood to stuff myself on sushi overly full of rice. The menu was overly simplified with no main course pictures and i was discouraged from ordering anything other than the all you can eat psuedo buffet.
I really enjoy the atmosphere and the food. The Mgr Hahn, is personable, polite and on top of everything. I like that the portions are small bc it allows me to try various things and order more of what I like. Thank you Hahn (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and the entire staff for a excellent experience every time.
Stopped by for lunch. The table we sat at, the floor was dirty &the table was a little sticky. (Hence the 4 stars)The host was nice enough to explain the way their "all you can eat" system works &how to order. Our server wasn't exactly pleasant but he wasn't rude either. He forgot to put in one of my orders, but that was okay, we were there for a while &just ordered it again. Food comes out quick! That's a plus since my son isn't exactly patient. Hibachi portions are small, but it makes sense since you order everything you can while there. Food was good, too. We'd come back for sure if we're in the area again.
I'm really not sure how to describe our experience here.... I guess I'll say it was odd and just a bit weird. We usually order sushi as a group and then each try all of the rolls, etc. The employees seemed surprised by this. They did not give us individual plates until we asked for them. I asked for Wasabi twice and never got it. They encourage you... well more so stress very much that you should not order too much and also have multiple signs to tell you this. Ordered calamari appetizer too, it came with just four rings of calamari. While the sushi tasted pretty good, in one of our rolls we found two pieces of a plastic wrapping of some sort. We showed this to the staff and they seemed befuddled, and said they would like to discuss the chefs but that the chefs only speak Japanese and the only speak English. Just a real weird vibe in almost every way. I will say, prices are quite good, order to table time is lightning fast and the atmosphere itself was nice. But with so many other options for sushi we probably will not return.
The sushi was really good. You definitely get your moneys worth. Just make sure you're hungry when you go. ?

Sat down and ordered our food for the all you can eat sushi, we got our food in less than 5 minutes. The food was so amazing and the sushi was phenomenal. For an all you can eat place, this one is WELL worth it. My husband and I will be returning! 10/10 would recommend for sushi lovers however they also have a great hibachi and other entrees!!
