Terrible. Customer service. Food. Workers. First of all I’d like to say one of your workers had a bad attitude. I had to call the manager. And you know I think she got fired because you just don’t deal with customers like that. And you know. It was her first day working. If you want a job do it right. For the first day is horrible. Acting like she didn’t want to serve us, crazy. Food was bad. And the bacon was so fried as well as the pancakes…. Don’t even know what was those. Do better Ihop my food shouldn’t look like slop nor should you hire slop lazy workers customer service is terrible people are all lined up in that waiting area where the register is at. At least the last time I’ve been there. Probably won’t ever revisit now.
Didn't even eat. Hostess was so rude. The floor was sticky beyond belief, and every table INCLUDING the one the hostess threw our menus on were DISGUSTING. I walked my handicapped husband all the way to the back of the restaurant only to turn around. If that's how they treat their customers and their dining room, there's no telling how they treat their food ?
By far the worst dining experience so far for me. We came in and waited to be seated and the waitress was talking to someone in the kitchen, laughing and joking while we waited 7minutes. Then when we were seated, no one came out to offer us drinks. We waited 20 minutes and nobody came to even offer us anything!! No drinks no food! Nothing! There were people in the kitchen laughing though....we ended up just walking out. I will not be eating here again ...
This was the first time I had been to Ihop in Summerville. I usually go to the one in North Charleston or the one on Ashley Phosphate. The Summerville IHOP Not only was it dirty and nasty. But the young waitress that was supposed to help us did not do anything to help us. She forgot our order forgot parts of our order and then we got our food we had to tell her four different times on what syrup we wanted. In the hour and 20 minutes I was there not one time did the waitress asked if I need a refill or anything. Had it not been for the other lady we probably would have never gotten our food or anything else taken care of. I do not recommend the IHOP in Summerville unless you are very very very desperate for food. I will not be going back to the IHOP in Summerville. Very displeased with the service and restaurant in general. And to top it off there were only four customers in this restaurant at the time. So there's no reason we were treated The Way We Were. Again just completely disappointed with the entire experience at IHOP.
Food was good but I felt bad for the waitress. I think she was the only one there working the floor and the attentiveness showed because of it. I asked for sugar for my coffee and after waiting a while, I had to grab some from another table before it got cold. There was also a food delivery guy that waited at the front desk for his order for quite a bit before anyone noticed him. I wouldn't recommend against going to this location, just be aware that you may have to wait awhile. Especially at night.
Great place to meet up with a group and stay awhile.
On January 29th at 11:30 I was seated. I was subsequently ignored for the next 20 minutes. Two families were seated nearby and had their orders and drinks taken. Feeling ignored I decided to leave. I express my displeasure with the situation as I left the building. I then called back and ask for the manager. I was then asked who was calling. Does it matter? And then I was told that they will not take any calls until 1. I expressed my displeasure of the situation in which case the woman said call back to the manager and promptly hung up on me. This is in no way a professional way to act. I will not be returning to such an establishment that hires Hooligans and rude individuals as their staff
Showed up shortly after opening, so there was no wait for seating, ordering, or our food. It was pretty awesome. The waitress who served us was nothing short of spectacular; she was attentive and friendly. Our food came quickly; was fresh and hot. If every trip to IHOP was like this visit, it would be perfect.
I spent $31 on breakfast for Xmas. My wife's country fried steak was beyond hard and you would need the jaws of life to cut into it. The hashbrowns needed to be cooked a little longer. We will no longer order or eat at this location, and I would have given this review a zero if I could.
I didn’t like the taste of the pancakes at this location. I’ve ordered pancakes from here twice and both times they’ve been a miss, so either my taste buds have changed and I no longer like iHop pancakes or the cooks at this location can’t cook. Service was subpar, was COVID to blame… Maybe, but I doubt it’s all COVID. Third time? Hard maybe.
