Wonderful place. We had reservations and were very promptly shown to our table. Wait staff was extremely attentive (thank you Paul who was the lead) and helpful offering tips and suggestions. The various types and cuts of meat were confusing just reading but Paul did a great job of explaining things. Everyone ordered steaks and all were very pleased. The sides (loaded mashed potatoes and the creamed corn) were also great. Desserts were a nice treat. When they learned we were celebrating 2 of our party getting ready to start new jobs, they brought us champagne. Not loud and a very relaxing enjoyable dinner.

My husband and I went to Halls chophouse and it was wonderful! The live band was great! Our server Angie was a sweetheart. She was so attentive to my husband and I. I absolutely loved the Steak demo! She brought a display showing the steaks. She described each steak in detail! I ended up getting the bison and she was correct when she said it melted in your mouth! I had so much fun eating a nice dinner with live music. The manager and I think the owner came over and said hello to everyone at the tables and everyone coming and leaving the restaurant. I had so much fun! When you decide to go and visit please make a reservation! Although I am pretty sure they accommodate walk in, the experience is much more pleasurable with a reservation. You can get, be seated and begin a wonderful experience.

Food was fantastic! It was our 20th anniversary dinner. They were out of the dry aged steak I ordered. Then they were out of cheesecake too. A bit disappointed for the amount we spent, I had to settle on items I didn't really want:(

Went there for a birthday and graduation celebration. The food and service was absolutely spectacular. Started out with appetizers of calamari and green fried tomatoes 5 stars, the steaks grilled to perfection, the sides of asparagus and corn served family style just amazing. Just can't say how amazing it all was. Definitely going back.

I have new favorite! I am a bit of a steak aficionado and I must say they provided one of thee best quality steaks that I’ve ever had.Everything that came out of the kitchen was very well balanced.I don’t say this much but it was perfect !And our waitress and serviceWas excellent.

The service was friendly and quick. Sit outside- covered and just right in temperature. The lunch menu is priced nicely for the more upscale atmosphere. Definitely worth going to!

My go to spot for any occasion. I celebrate even the smallest accomplishments...You definitely have to try their brunch. I've been eating here for years and I think it's really starting to become a popular spot. They have multiple locations in the state.

Made reservation 2 months prior to our May 15th brunch date. Requested a high top table outside for 2. Was asked if it was a special occasion which it was our 46th wedding anniversary. They said there would be a little something extra for us. We arrived early and the hostess was less than friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day at 10:15am on Sunday morning. We were ushered to a table outside but not a high top. I made mention to them and we were given a high top next to the outdoor bar area. There was a group of locals, all the staff seemed to know them, who were very loud & made talking difficult at our table. Our waiter was good, altho, he never offered his name. Drinks, food, & service was all good but, not on the same level as downtown Hall's. And they did not remember about our anniversary. Wife did remind our guy & he came thru with a little something extra. All in all, not a bad place but not downtown Hall's.

Good morning, My wife and I normally visit the Charleston location but we've attended the Summerville location twice now. We're both fans of the bison but I decided to venture to the prime rib on this fine 5/1/22 day. As my wife stayed with her bison choice my prime rib came out with the loin portion completely burnt. The waitress sent the manager to the table and I told him that the loin portion was crispy. He sarcastically asked if I would like a, "less crispy piece". I should've responded quite differently but I simply said yes, please. The second piece was about the same and, needless to say, the majority went home to become a dine for my spoiled dogs. I expected more from Halls and the management. The management is what got me the worse. I myself, believe his attitude to be very deserving of what a fine dining establishment to be.

I’ll give this place a Five star rating. Other reviews stated it was over priced for the food. When you dine at this level it does costs. Compared to the other steak places this is in top 3. Ribeye was flavorful, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The filet’s was tender cooked perfectly and very tasty accompanying with the truffle butter. The Brussels sprouts was cooked excellent, the pepper Jack corn was a good choice for one of the sides. Mac and cheese always a staple. The dishes the sides on a side accompanying plate which is a nice touch not to crowd the main dinner steak. Everyone was very attentive and glasses never more then half empty. Halls Chophouse is a must visit. Reservations are needed as this is a very hopping place.
