We were sat in the only room where the air conditioner didn't work. Our waitress never came back to check up on us. We asked to be moved but the waitress said there were no other seats in the restaurant. When there were only my family of 7 and two other family's in the entire restaurant. My 74 year old father is on oxygen and was pouring sweat, and she still refused to move us. Then my husband asked for a refill and she never brought it back. This is the Worse Costomer service that I have ever had. I would not recommend this place to any one.

Home-style cooking with great customer service. A bit pricey for eggs and sausage hash browns and toast (around $15), though. Not usually too, busy. I can generally walk in and sit down. They have changed their name to Family Restaurant, as they have taken down the Alex's signage.

I'm not going to lie, the food is mediocre. Don't go here if you're expecting anything extravagant. That is the entire reason I have to give 4 instead of 5 stars. Our family is welcomed with literal open arms every time we visit. We adore going here. The staff feels like family and it's just such a nice, peaceful environment. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a pick-me-up and a smiling face.

We went for breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice selection of items. I had a ham omelette with cheese. It was good not great, over cooked for my taste. Hash browns were delicious and so was the pancake. Will definitely be back but might not do another omelette.

Nice atmosphere but the food could have been a little more seasoned

The food is good southern breakfast. But bill will give you eye opener. All restaurants have increased prices due to COVID-19. It will be a while before I go to enjoy this restauranBreakfast for two people was $40.

Went to eat lunch yesterday and the french fries were not cooked, cold. Went today for breakfast and asked for extra crispy hash browns and they were hardly cooked, and the patty sausage was tasteless. I'll stick with Goose Creek location.

Great, simple, & fast breakfasts. Terrific staff, too. Their pancakes are terrific -- sweet and dense. I usually like fluffy pancakes, but these dense ones are actually addicting.

Let’s get the good out of the way first. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Now the food. The wife and I were just saying before we came in, how hard is it to mess breakfast up. Well they did! The sausage links were tasteless, the breakfast ham was, well let’s just say not ham. I could write a whole chapter on the biscuit but let’s just say the seagulls around here wouldn’t touch them. And again the staff was superb but that’s all I can say good of the place.

Very hospitable and kind staff, coffee is good. I am not sure if this restaurant fully recovered from the covid 19 year, but only out of sheer hunger did I eat. The biscuit tasted like it was made a month ago, the hash browns needed more cook time a lot more cook time and the fish and eggs were decent. Not sure if this is a local spot or not, seems as it is, but they can improve a lot more. I hope this helps somewhat on both sides. Price is not worth the quality of the food.
