The best service ever! Our server, Jovita, was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive! I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience! Oh, and the FOOD! All of the meat was seasoned to perfection. I don't think I have ever had Mexican where the flavors didn't blend together, but El Patron was so flavorful and amazing! You won't find a better Mexican Restaurant!! We will be back!!
One of my favorite cuisines is Mexican food. I have eaten at a lot of the local Mexican restaurants and I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The restaurant is hidden behind a hotel, but don't let that stop you from enjoying their food. Everything was so good and the service was great. Their chips were hot and the salsa had the right amount of heat to tomato ratio. They make their own corn tortillas, which made my taquitos some of the best I've ever had. The California burrito was huge and full of every kind of meat needed to complete a small farm. Overall Delicious!

This is my 2nd time eating at El Patron Jr by Roger and both times the food was delicious.i ordered the Texas Rice Bowl. It was fresh and flavorful. Both times food was prepared promptly. Portion size was enough for two meals (for me anyway). Not bad getting two meals at the price. I will definitely visit El Patron when I have a craving for some good Mexican food.

From the chips and salsa through the main dishes we tried to our flan for dessert.... Fantastic. Thank you for a delightful meal. I must say I can usually leave or take flan, but this flan was truly the icing on the cake- give it a try. :)
Wonderful food. Fresh and hot and tasty. Wife had the shrimp tamales and raved about how good they were for an hour. Service was quick and efficient and very friendly. Best Mexican restaurant in the Charleston / Summerville area.
