Horrible customer service. Waited 45 min. In line for the drive thru, order my food don't even leave the parking lot when i realized they missed part of my order so I park and walked up to the window where a manager yells drive thru only so i yelled back i was missing part of my order he just said drive thru only again and stood their with his hand on his hip staring at the screen like he don't see me. I continue to stand their as a employee starts to walk to the window the manager told her to just ignore me. I had to leave without part of my order because i did not want the rest of my food to get old while i waited in line again.
Me personally, I am a fan of Checkers. Yesterday, in specific, my life family took a trip to Folly Beach and came to this Checkers, out of the many we passed, heading back home. I had my mouth fixed for my order, had done bragged about how good Checkers food is... Only to get bags, $62 worth of over cooked food. I'm talking about, fish that has sat past it's time for consumption, refried to make it seem hot and "fresh".. dried out fries heated by that lamp light.. chicken tenders and bites that were so hard, when we bit into them our teeth squeaked. I mean dried out.. the kids said their lil value burgers taste funny. NO DRINKS WERE AVAILABLE!!! And we were so thirsty!! 4 adults 9 kids.. the drive thru window lady said if we got any drinks, we would be charged for the drink but given water.. I was baffled, too shame, too hungry, and too disappointed. And to make matters worst.. I threw all my food back up.. Checkers had me down bad. It hurt to do this review, but it had to be done.
what I GOT looked nothing like what they picture on their site and as for flavor, the burger tasted a bit "off". gave it to my dogs. so disappointed
We come visit this Checkers every time we visit our 85 year old Aunt.Tonite hubby got a spicy chicken sandwich and loaded fries. I got a BLT only I think there wasn't any T on my sandwich. It is okay that the tomato was left off. I'm sure that late at night they probably were outta tomatoes.We will continue to stop here to get something to eat if the lines aren't too long if they are, we have to find somewhere else to get food.
Times are off for open and closed.Update: Their times are still wonky. Yet I've never had a bad experience here. Yes, sometimes it takes them a hot minute to get their drive thru going. Yet my order is never wrong, and the food is always fresh. 3 star on time, but 5 star on food quality/workers ethics. Cause their employees really be hitting good. ?♂️ Idk what they get paid an hour, but honestly it better be good. Cause I'm being literal. The food was hot/fresh, order spot on.
I had a good experience here. The food was hot and was out in a timely manner. The cashier was nice and professional. Definitely recommend.
Had a bad experience, got a chocolate shake. It tasted like it was about to go sour. I went back to the restaurant, they refunded my money. It did make me sick, I had to use their bathroom before I could get on the road, then again when I got to the grocery store. The chicken sandwich, coke and cheese sticks were good, except the cheese sticks were greasy.
Workers Ignored my husband at the window ..then came up with an attitude.. saying they aren’t ringing anyone up there .. Go to the drive through . My husband explained he drives an 18 wheeler and is parked in the median . He cannot fit through the drive through .. so they basically tell him oh well and they wouldn’t ring him up food cause they only had one cashier … he wanted one sandwich … that’s all .. Instead they smacked teeth , rolled eyes and made rude comments and slammed the glass window in his face. My husband then had to WALK to another restaurant. Hire nicer people ..
Left the emergency room and arrived at checkers at 1:54 am only to be told they have no fries!!! How does Checkers have no fries???? Not to mention the sprite they served taste like straight cleaner!! Very disappointed!! Do better Checkers!! Oh and not to mention $23 for 3 burgers and 2 drinks!!!
The careless workers with their horrible customer service caused someone to have an allergic reaction to shellfish (they were told about the allergy) that resulted in that person not being able to breathe, seizing and having to be rushed to the hospital. This place needs to be closed down or something needs to be done for the victim and his pain and suffering because that is utterly ridiculous. In order to protect yourselves please anyone with a shellfish or seafood allergy please stay away from here.
