Carolina Ale never fails to impress me. I’ve been twice and each time the service was amazing and the food was even better. ALWAYS get the spinach dip as an appetizer, but it’s big enough to be the whole meal. I tried the plant based burger which wasn’t very good, but that’s just one i didn’t like out of the many other food items they have.

They are understaffed, according to their manager, who was forced to seat us and take our order due to our incompetent server. The server is rude and so is the manager. The server ran around us for twenty minutes gathering other orders and collecting dishes for peoples whos food was received and finished while our glasses were emptied and staying that way. Then they didnt have what we did order when we were finally able to. Ive never had service this awful. I guess Im eating lemons for lunch.

This was our first time to the Carolina Ale House and we went during brunch time. It was not a busy time and we got seated right away. Comfortable environment and our server was quite pleasant. I do not usually order burgers but decided to give it a try here. It was tasty and not a single bite was left!

We started with ordering 2 kids meals, the cheese pizza (which after I requested no pepperoni, it came WITH pepperoni) and the chicken tenders with fries. The kids pizza was the soggiest pizza I have ever seen. It wasn't edible. The fries that came with all of our meals were not even warm. The crispy cod ciabatta sandwich was so greasy I could have rung out the fish of all the oil. On top of the terrible food, our server, Denise D never came to check on us to see how the food was, she came after a while and asked if we had saved room for dessert. WHILE WE WERE STILL EATING! Then asked if we wanted boxes. Again...we were STILL EATING. Definitely will not be returning to this restaurant, and I suggest you don't bother either.

Great service at the outdoor bar! Em was awesome! The Cole slaw and Fish were amazing !!! Highly recommended!!

REALLY BAD WINGS!! on Valentine's Day. It was a togo order for delivery I'm not sure where to begin. First off, the fry oil was burnt, all I tasted was burnt flour, and of course the wings are very dark and dry. Ordered honey buffalo that tasted like regular buffalo and general tso was just plain burnt fried chicken nasty and dry. Never tossed in the sauce. All this for $26 at 8pm on Valentine's Day for a dozen wings. Never again!! I know the kitchen knew the oil was bad and needed changing, it was past filtering it.....why wasn't it done??? We just wanted a late snack! There's no excuse!

The food was cold, bland, and under cooked. I feel like we were discriminated against and given poor treatment because we are black. The best thing we had was bacon cheddar fries appetizer. I had salmon, rice, and green beans. My finace had a steak house burger with onion rings. We had 2 Carolina Hurricanes and 2 L.I.T. even the drinks were disgusting; they tasted like soap. This is my first and last time here.

I wish they had zero stars. First off the atmosphere has a stale feel soon as you walk in. Was seated promptly. Not a large crowd either. 20 mins later after being ignored by several of staff. We got up and walked out. Was highly recommended too. Will never waste my time like that again. Came over to Cracker barrel and was treated great with prompt service and good food.

The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and on point!

Looks like a fun place but the food was just ok. Ordered fish and chips which wasn't tasty and a full rack of ribs, which was cold. MW helped but it just wasn't delicious.Prolly if I ate inside it would have been a bit better, but for takeout, not great.
