The atmosphere was modern and sleek. I absolutely loved the food! Everything felt to fancy, but the prices were so affordable! 5 star on a budget! Our waitress was amazing!

Nice atmosphere. A bit disappointed there is no tableside hibachi cooking but the food was very good and good portions.

Best sushi ever. I ordered a mixed sushi and there’s so much more to it than I thought, would’ve been better for two people not one. The size of the fish was the thickest I’ve ever seen on a plate and there’s a lot of it. Excellent sushi, excellent service, the owner is wonderful. Beautiful presentation. Gorgeous inside. Date worthy. Only place we will go now!
Bushido’s Dorchester rd. Used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Charleston area. Today I had a very disappointing experience. I found long black hair in my sushi roll…showed it to the waitress, she took to the kitchen. She came back and told me it was not from the kitchen….they tried to justify, by saying that the sushi knife would have cut the hair, but clearly it didn’t….I was not charged for the roll, but left there feeling like I was beingAccused of putting hair in my roll …My hair is braided in a bun off my face, besides the hair was not on the top of the roll it was embedded within…nevertheless my family, friends and I will never dine there again… Eat at your own risk…
My lady and I went to this place because we were looking for some really good Japanese Hibachi. When we got there the restaurant was very nice and very clean, to include the restrooms. They had a good selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages. We both got combination dinner plates (ribeye & shrimp *picture excludes two pieces of steak I ate ?) (chicken & shrimp) and were both extremely pleased with how good the food was. Overall we thought it was an outstanding experience and an outstanding restaurant. ????
This place was an amazing surprise. Most of the Japanese food around here is average but we are so glad we found this. Everything we have tried thus far has been amazing. Appetizers, Hibachi, and the Sushi has been 100 each new person I take has been blown away.Even the bathrooms are clean. Easily the go to place for us now.
I want to give this place 5 stars but they are still lacking servers so service is really slow. The food however is amazing. Their Rolls are really delicious as well as the hibachi plates. This place has always been a bit pricey but it's always worth it.
