Think twice about eating at a place that does not pay their vendors, over 4 years and still owes Carolina Cooling Systems over $600 for a repair to his AC units. Any restaraunt with these practices will skimp and compromise your food, CAUTION
Deliciously Authentic!This is my 3rd visit to Antica Napoli. Being Italian and finding authentic Italian food in the low country is a challenge so when we found this restaurant we were thrilled. The pizza is wood fired and all of the choices are amazing. On my last visit, I ordered the special which was lasagna and a salad. The pasta noodles were fresh and homemade and the rich filling was so delicious that I finished the entire serving. The salad was fresh and the dressing so tasty. My sister ordered the other special which was spaghetti with meatballs. When you're Italian, ordering meatballs out is risky however, the meatballs were delicious. We were treated to complimentary cannoli and they were just like what we used to get in Little Italy in NYC. Kudos to the wonderful chef and staff at Antica Napoli. We are definitely going back!
Excellent all around! Wood fired pizza is awesome! We ordered the Speciale. Ingredients were on top of the pizza instead of being embedded in the cheese. Gave it a much better taste! Our server (Ashton) was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and worked to personally connect with customers. The manager even came to ask how our meal was. Our food was prepared quickly and the desserts were OUTSTANDING! Highly recommended!
Most authentic Italian pizza I have had in a long time! Crust and sauce was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try real Italian pizza instead of commercial American style! Will definitely be back again!
We ate there today for the first time. The food and staff were wonderful! We will definitely be coming back in there soon. The pizza was the best we’ve had in the Charleston region. Delicious! Our waitress surprised us with cannolis, too! My three boys smiled from ear to ear! Such a wonderful place!
First time coming here. The atmosphere is great. Very clean and comfy. The food was amazing. Ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was very tasty. The sauce was light and the crust was thin. They have the best cannolis I have tasted so far. Definitely will recommend and will come back! Ashley our server was amazing, very friendly and courteous.
Authentic Italian food! Customer care was top notch and our dining experience was something to write home about. We will definitely be back and we will be bringing friends!! Hands down best pizza we have had in years! They even have vegan cheese that melts and is very creamy! Gluten free crust is available too.
Finally, the huge void of good pizza from North Charleston to Summerville off or near Dorchester Road has been filled by Antica Napoli Pizza. Although we got it to go, you can tell the atmosphere and seating is nice and comfortable. We started with a small plate of Meatballs marinara sauce. The meatballs had the right consistency of being tight, light, and fork-tender. The wife and I both liked the nice brown crust on the two pies we ordered, both of us prefer our crust with a bit more char. While the Margherita and the Diavola pizza looked the same, the heat from the latter made the taste very distinctive. Both could have used a bit more chunks of fresh mozzarella, but overall, a great pie. We finished a good Cannoli, with a solid pastry shell, stuffed with a slightly over sweet cream filling. Overall, a solid place for a locally owned pizza that is not downtown.
I was really excited to visit Antica after seeing it's one of the few restaurants in SC part of True Neapolitan Pizza Association (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, AVPN).The pizza was really just average...not horrid but definitely something missing.Meatball starter was good and albeit slow, the service was friendly too.
One of the best true Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had!! We’ve been here a few times, and it’s always a 5-star experience. Highly recommended!
