On our way home from Florida, we passed through Spartanburg and decided to get a brief lunch at Wayback burgers. I’ve never had it before and It always looked good so here’s my experience:Pros:The food was honestly pretty good. The burger was hot and cooked really well. It certainly doesn’t top the best burgers I’ve had but it still was a good burger! The fries were extra fresh and tasty too. I additionally got a milkshake in the end and that was insanely good too.Cons:My only issue is that they were pretty slow at getting orders out. That should probably be addressed at some point.Despite that, this was still a good experience.
Highly disappointed with the service at this place. We decided to try and we definitely won’t be going back. The food was ok nothing special but the service was especially bad. We ordered a sauce with our burger and didn’t get it and also ordered the fried pickles which should have come with ranch but also didn’t get it. When we went to ask for them. We had to pay for them. Also when we asked for to go boxes the wouldn’t give us big boxes and only gave us small ones and our food would not fit.
Nice, clean restaurant with some tasty old fashioned hamburgers. I do wish they had their prices more available to see.
The food was delicious! When we got ready to leave, we ordered the peach milkshake to go and it was so good! We will definitely go back.
Phenomenal food every time.The building has plenty of parking. The inside of the establishment is usually kept clean, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is cooked fresh to order and is always delicious; they definitely put care into the food here. If you're looking for a good burger and fixins, definitely put this place on your list.
My wife loves this place and I have to admit a decent burger is to be had here. We did a pickup order with burgers, tots and a shake. The food was all good and done properly but no napkins were placed in the bag which I thought was a bit odd for takeout. Also, curbside pickup is no longer an option at this location which is a huge bummer since the pandemic still isn't actually over.

This place has s changed drastically since I was last here. The girl taking my order had no idea what toppings were on the burger I chose. She messed up my entire order even after me saying it 3 times!! Once I finally got my food, the fries were cold and the burger was still wrong! Do yourself a favor, just go to McDonald’s. You’ll get fresher food and pay way less!
Burger was fresh and hot, but you gotta put your own salt to bring out the flavor. Probably a good thing. Same with fries. I'd go again. But please get that faucet in the ladies room to stay on longer so I can wash my hands. Electric faucets are fine, accept when they don't work properly. Washing your hands should not be a frustrating experience. Thanks a bunch.
What a place! We drove from NC and saw the sign on I-26 and deceided to give it a try. Wonderful place, very clean, but the best thing was the service. Everyone was so nice to us and Gretchen, who took our order, gave us such a big, warm and beautiful smile. You don’t get those lately.
