The staff was absolutely incredible last night. Food was terrific. By far best Waffle House experience ever!
It really depends on which one you go to. I give a 2 star because the compamy truly needs a lot of work. Better pay, more care for their employees & better advancement in the career. Obviously any company could improve but as a (fromer) waffle house employee it's needs a lot of work. The food is good depending which restaurant you go to.

We eat there so much now bc it's one of the few great places to eat from where we can actually eat inside the restaurant. Plus they have great waiters/waitress and cooks.
Went to have bfest and Steven and his crew were rocking it out and treated me and my family like there known great customer service love it
First time I've been to a Waffle House and gave 5 stars. Food was perfect, service was great, and the gentleman that waited on us was very nice. Very good experience.
Ordered the breakfast that comes with a waffle. Ordered Eggs over easy no runny white... Came with lots of runny white. Sent back... And asked for no runny white but runny yoke. Got them and yoke was hard. Didn't get my bacon... Sat on cook's counter and was brought to me cold and had to ask for fresh bacon. Had to ask 3 times for the waffle that came with my meal. Toast was almost burnt. Waitress took forever to bring us coffee. Actually came back to the table to take our food order without bringing drinks we ordered from her 10 minutes earlier. Lousy service, lousy food. Won't go back to that location. I realize restaurants are short handed but another table came in AFTER us, same waitress, and had their food before she even took our order. Left a 10% tip but she didn't deserve any.
Did a good job on my chicken melt and didn't just stick a piece of unmelted cheese on it either like some do. They were swamped but still came out good
