The food is amazing, and the staff is polite. If I had a complaint it would be they don't have the sugar Chinese donuts. But all in all 9/10
Highly recommend their General Tso's chicken, vegetable Lo Mein or Wonton Soup.
Is Uncle Poons under new owner/management?? I haven’t been there in a few months. It used to be my favorite place but I went this evening and the food just did not taste the same. The egg rolls are my all time favorite and today they were chewy and rubbery. The beef was tough, when it’s usually marinated and tender. The fried rice even tasted different and darker in color. Like a dark orange color as if tomato paste was used. I definitely hope they get back on track so that I can go back!
Uncle pons food taste sucks!!! My husband used to love their food says the taste of the food today is sucks!!! The first time I ate their food I didn’t like anyway.. I bought last Thursday May 19,2022 and I noticed my hubby barely ate it so I just through it all away!! The veggie egg roll taste like it’s been sitting in the freezer for couple of days then fried when they order.Their fried rice taste something spoiled ??.
Ordered shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken today. Rice was horrible but the chicken was great! They did give me a refund without issue though.

This place is pretty good but could use some improvements.For example the chicken fried rice has a good flavor but they don’t put hardly any chicken in it which is really the main ingredient so it’s basically just flavored rice. All other food that we had was just mediocre and didnt have the WOW factor that we were looking for.Our expectations are set pretty high since we’ve been to a lot of Asian restaurants outside of South Carolina and they’re food is so fantastic and authentic so we know that they can do better.Im giving them a 5 star rating because theyre nice and times are hard right now for the restaurant industry so at least they're trying and we will come back and try it again.
I have lunch here regularly. Notice yesterday that they added an extra $3 tip without my approval on my card. That's shady. Lost a regular customer.
