My son's first trip there? he definitely will be going back !!!
The oysters were really good as were the onion rings (although not crazy about the food coloring to make them orange), scallops were pretty good, fries were nice and crispy but tasteless. Our server was very, nice and fun.
My husband and I have ate there twice in the past month. The food was great. The first time we had Julia as a server. She was wonderful! The second time we had Savannah as a server. She was wonderful also. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is family owned and operated! You can tell because they care.
Been going to the flounder for over 40 years. Food and service has never disappointed. I love this place..as a side note... go tigers ? ? !!!
Love the combination platter & coleslaw!!! All my kids like eating here, great chicken fingers & fries for when they decide to be picky. This place stays PACKED!!!!! If your wanting to dine in you better get here before they open because you'll have to park on the other side of the road and walk. If your wanting to call in an order for pick up don't get aggravated because the line is constantly busy. The only way to make sure you get thru on the phone is call & hang up back to back to back to back. As soon as you hear the busy signal hang up and call back. Great food & worth the wait, that's why everyone is here including you! ?
Been coming here since the '70s. It's as good now as it was then.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Spartanburg. I have eaten here my whole life! I usually order shrimp but I tried the scallops this time. They were great! I ordered a half-order and it was a generous portion. Our server was FANTASTIC! So responsive and attentive. Normally there’s a line but I went on Thursday evening, arrived around 6:15. There was no line, we were seated quickly, and had been served our beverages with 5 minutes. Another great experience!

The food is typically fantastic, and service as well.The oyster stew is acceptable. Sometimes, the oysters are a bit overdone, and they aren't always properly cleaned. The waste sacs are sometimes left in.They have a tendency to mess up orders if you ask for your main course to be cooked a certain way. If you ask for a rare steak, it will probably be overcooked. Or if you ask for something to be extra crispy or well done, chances are you'll have to send it back to be corrected.Service is typically fantastic; no complaints about the employees. They do try their best to be kind and accommodating to their customers.
