I decided to try Taste of Thai tonight and I am extremely glad I did. The food was fantastic. The red curry was one of the best I've ever had. On top of the fantastic food, the service was spectacular. So much so that it prompted me to write this review. I had a great conversation with the owner who told me all about the fresh peppers that they use and how they roast them to make their own red pepper flakes and spice mixes. She was so awesome, that she gave me 3 jars of different peppers to take home. After my meal another table and I struck up a conversation about how fantastic the food was and how happy we were to have stopped in. It is definitely recommended and I will be back anytime I am in town! Thank you Taste of Thai for a fantastic dining experience!
We had glass noodles and pad thai. Both with seafood. Glass noodles were tasteless. Pad thai a bit better. Seafood was not great quality; scallops tasted off. Mango shake was missing mango taste; tasted like coconut milk with ice.
Wow. Hands down, best Thai food we’ve had. In love with this place. Ambiance, decor, music, and service are all wonderful. The food is fantastic and fresh. This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places you will be very glad to have stumbled upon
Resteraunt is clean, food was good and the portions are large.
Delicious food. Service was average. Prices on menu didn’t match the bill. We pointed this out. They made no concessions or apologies for the higher prices on our bill. Won’t need to go back.
We love this restaurant but live about an hour away. The owner is so friendly and will talk and talk to you. The food is delicious! Today I had #25 which is ground chicken, onion and basil. It was so good. Their spring rolls are big and very tasty. Also for dessert they have small round doughnuts with an icing that is to die for. We didn’t need them, but we LOVE them! Also love the music they play;)
Great flavor and taste. Don't order the extra curry, it isn't worth the $$. You get maybe 1/8 more than the original order. A little disappointed in the garlic vegetable. It should be called the garlic cabbage because that's the only vegetable we got.
Popped in here when I saw it on google maps. It was a rainy day and Thai sounded perfect. Taste of Thai did not disappoint. I just got the green curry at an 8 out of 10 spice. It. Was. Delicious! Food was quick, spring roll was light and delicious. Will definitely be back!
They got the spice level wrong on my food. Got it correct on my son's and wife's food. Despite the mistake, the food had a great taste. The wait staff were very nice and very fast. 4.5
I was looking forward to eating here for the first time, but feel I can only rate it a 3 overall, solely based on the food. I purchased the Pad Thai tofu x2 and Tom Kha soup x2. Let me state, the soup was amazing. One of the best I’ve had. The Pad Thai on the other hand was bland and dry. I asked for a 4* heat on one, 7* on the other. It was difficult to taste the difference in heat levels between the two. I feel the cost was high too also. Higher priced than similar businesses, and the bland taste didn’t make me feel better about how much I paid.I called ahead and did takeout and was informed the food would be ready in 30 mins. I showed up at the 30 minute mark, and had to wait over an additional 35 mins. I know staffing seems to be an issue at many businesses, but to be off the mark that badly on the timing is not good. They also seemed to be staffed adequately, especially for the amount of diners they had at the time. Another gentleman was there waiting, he stated he had been waiting 45 minutes. He asked the person at the counter how much longer his food would be, I heard them state 5 minutes. I left 20 minutes after that, and he was still waiting.I don’t know that I need to go back anytime soon.
