Recently I enjoyed a meal with my family for the first time at this business. I was pleasantly taken in by the quaint decor and stylized big-city bistro vibe. The food along with the setting create an authentic taste of italian in a southern town. Portions were more then generous. The refinement of the menu allows for cross utilization for customer preferences. Definitely consider this place one of the finer resturants in the area with a casual approach.
Very welcoming, family friendly and great service. The food reminds me of my mother’s home cooking which is a huge compliment. Every server in the building constantly makes sure you have everything you need throughout your visit. All in all it was a very pleasant experience!
Had a 3-couple business dinner before Christmas and we enjoyed it. The Owner/Host is very personable. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was tasty. It can get crowded and the restaurants is small, so be prepared. --- Hey TRIP ADVISOR --- Stop asking stupid questions about the Pandemic Policies. How in the Heck am I supposed to know if the restaurant offers stay at home measures. Jeez...enough already!
This was my first visit to Sofia’s and it did not disappoint. Every single item we ordered was delicious. We had the meatballs, prosciutto with burrata, lobster ravioli, crème brûlée, and the lemon mascarpone cake. All of it was absolutely amazing! Very friendly staff. The only thing I would say is the crème brûlée top was not crystallized like crème brûlée typically is. Maybe it was intentional? Either way it was amazing and I would definitely order everything again!!!!
Sophia's was wonderful, we sat outside as the weather was perfect. I ate the Chicken Marsala with roast potatoes, it was the best I've ever had! My husband had the Meatballs and garlic toast, that was yummy too. The staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.
We were so impressed by the service and the outstanding food we had to put down a review. Sophia's is the best restaurant we've been to in a long time. We loved everything and are going to be returning soon. Thank you to the owers and our server Amanda for a wonderful evening.
The service here is the best I have experienced in quite some time! The staff is very pleasant and extremely helpful. The food is just as Outstanding as the service! Everything was so delicious that I even tried dessert (extremely rare occasion) and it did not disappoint!! I will definitely back on my next visit to Spartanburg.
