Was excited to try this place out. After getting at the restaurant at 445 was surprised that we were told it was a 30 minute wait even though half the restaurant was empty. Didnt mind waiting because was still looking forward to it. After being seated 40 minutes later my kids were getting hungry and restless. After sitting for 20 more minutes and not a single waitress came to our table. They took the orders of every table around us but not us even though we had been there 20 minutes longer than anyone else, so we decided to leave. Real shame that I looked forward to this place for so long and now I doubt I will be back anytime soon
Had a great experience! Toni was amazing & the absolute best energy for our party! The food was amazing & everyone enjoyed the environment they have created downtown. If you’re looking for a great place for dinner, or to host a get together this is the place! Love the parking option as well which can be an issue for some downtown businesses!Also the menu is packed with lots of comfort foods so come prepared to eat your heart out!
The bourbon BBQ sauce with collard greens makes for a perfect graduation dinner! They were short staffed but our waitress, Kayla, did an amazing job keeping us satisfied. My family enjoyed their dinner and we will be back again
Been here 4 times now.Great atmosphere and we really Want to like this restaurant. However, there’s clear management issues with cleanliness, especially for a place so new!Twice there was stuff in my water and twice my silverware were given dirty. Three menu items we tried to order today, they were out of when they weren’t busy at all.The bar tender and the servers act as if it’s the last place they want to be. Not friendly, never have anything to recommend on the menu, just look at you with a blank stare when you ask.The restaurant will be nearly empty yet no tables or floor clean anywhere.The bathroom was less than ideal. New but not clean.It’s truly unfortunate. Could be an awesome hangout with the right management. Unfortunately, someone invested a lot of money in a cool restaurant that’s not going to make it because of the wrong staff and management hired.
The service was good. The chicken Philly with tater tots were good. It's got a really good atmosphere here. There are a ton of draf beers on tap. My only complaint would be everyone that got French fries including the appetizer was super salty. It was so salty that you couldn't finish them. I would go back for the beer and cool outside seating. If getting fries you might tell them to hold the salt.
First experience, and it really was wonderful. With it being Mother's day, they had been very busy, and were out of a LOT of their signature dishes and ingredients to even others. However, what we did get was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. So even though we weren't able to order what we wanted, and the kitchen made a few mistakes on our order(remember, they had been slammed) it is definitely worth going back. It was the best "off night" we've ever had at a restaurant.
The food was very good, the issues I had were all service related. The restaurant was not busy by any means when we arrived (party of 4), but it took longer than necessary for someone to even acknowledge us. Someone finally showed up and we were seated. The waitress showed up and was immediately somewhat abrasive. Really impatient with our entire party for no reason. We never received any silverware. The fries were missing the malt aioli. And the waitress wasn't going to pause long enough to be asked for anything. She brought our ticket when we were still eating without asking us if we wanted anything else. A few of us wanted milkshakes but needed menus to decide what we wanted. She rattled off a list, but I still requested a menu and was ignored so I refused to order one. Two in the party ordered shakes to go. I think we waited longer on the shakes than on our food. When we finally got the shakes (which she blamed on the bar) they were almost totally liquid, which leads me to believe they were sitting waiting to be picked up for so long that they melted. There were no lids for the shakes. While the other members of the party were willing to just leave the melted shakes and go, I wasn't. I had to approach the bartender, as our waitress never came back. She was very nice, offered to remake them or if we wanted a refund we had to get a manager. She retrieved the manager who provided a refund. All of that being said, I will return, but the service is on thin ice.
We sat inside and watched the rain through the open sliding doors. My wife loves diet coke but the bar at Rigsbys had run out - normally that would be a deal breaker and we would have moved on to another place but the staff took a minute to search again and produced a bottle coke for us. Awesome serviceRibs were excellent and the pecan beer went down great too.We'll definitely be heading back soon.
