I will tell ya these people have some of the best seafood and the best service. this is gonna be one our new regular places to eat for now on. 20 stars ?
Not at all happy with Red Crab's response to them giving my mom and niece the wrong food and being totally flippant about the situation. Customer service matters!! I wouldn't have recommended them patronize Red Crab, anyway. My last two orders were mediocre, at best, and the customer service was less than stellar. Today they ordered crawfish and, instead, received shrimp. The girl on the phone said "it happens all the time." Told my mom to bring it back. She never offered a discount despite the gas prices after knowing my mom was 40 minutes away. They won't get my dimes ever again!!! Piss-poor!!
It’s really amazing seafood. Being from Seattle we’re always somewhat skeptical when it comes to seafood when you’re not on the coast. Well our expectations were more than that. I had Dungeness crab it says two pieces on the menu. Well it’s actually two sections with 4 claws each section. It came with two beautiful red potatoes and the spices were delicious. Also a half an ear of corn on the cob. It was truly excellent seafood! They do not yet have their liquor license but bring your own bottle of beer and they will give you a glass to pour it in. I also had so much food that I split my order to take half home for lunch tomorrow.
food was good.... waitress was slow with our drinks and then the bill.
The service was great, the dining area has a boat aquarium in it and the place was clean. The food however was not the best. My bf had the boil with crab legs and shrimp. He said it was good. The calamari was edible but not delicious and the fried oysters/shrimp basket was also unimpressive.
It was a great atmosphere. The food was decent enough. Clam chowder could have been cooked longer. Crab legs wasn't too fresh. Overall I did enjoy the experience. My server was kind.
Great dinning experience will for sure be back again soon. Waitress and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure that we had top notch service. Food was mouth watering delicious and hot. Highly recommend this restaurant.
High price, very small portions
First time visitor on 02/08/2022.I saw that beautiful sign from Hwy 29 and decided to try. Best decision ever. I take seafood very seriously and I have eaten just that literally all over the country from Maine to Texas to Florida and this establishment delivered!!!!! From hostess, waitress, manager, to the entire staff- so polite, on point, and made us feel welcome. Now the food- absolutely heaven!!! Generous portions, prepared perfectly, and fair pricing. I told your staff as I’ve told everyone else from family to employees and customers - this is the place to go. Even with an hour drive, It will become a regular; you might even get tired of seeing us. Please, don’t change anything that you are doing; you guys have it right! Thank you.
Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, visit for lunch! The food rocked! We were all very well pleased with the low country boil combinations. Crab legs, shrimp, sausage and a lobster tail for others... all well seasoned and very enjoyable! The potatoes were surprisingly sweet and delicious when covered with the sauce/seasoning. The service was good.
