We visited this restaurant for the first time last week and had a wonderfully pleasant experience. Our waiter, Jordan, was new, and he did such a great job taking care of us. One would never know that he was just learning. The food was great as well! We really appreciated having the manager check in on us to make sure everything was to our liking. That is the kind of service you just don't see too often. Preston Wittenberger, you are running a very establishment there! Thank you for providing a wonderful dining experience! Much appreciated!
I realize it's a holiday but it took over an hour to get drinks and were never offered bread. After an hour and twenty minutes we finally got our salads. Kitchen was out of most of the items we ordered no rice, veggies, or mushrooms. Nearly two hours to get food. Meanwhile all the tables around ours came and went while we sat waiting. I understand times are tough and places are understaffed but at least update on what's happening. After almost two hours one in the party had to ask for everything to go since it had gotten to be nearly 10pm. The food finally came out and it was ice cold. Chicken was so dry and overcooked it wasn't edible. Next time we'll definitely be going elsewhere.
Well its Wednesday evening and yes i was late to get here walked in at 937 pm and my wife and daughter met me here for what was to be a very enjoyable evening and dinner . And the staff welcomed us as if we were the first person to arrive during the day we were seated at a clean table and asked how we were . Our waitress a miss B Lily took our drink order and brought us our drinks and a loaf of bread with butter and asked if we wanted any appetizers we ordered the steak and cheese dip with chips. We got it and she took our dinner order without any type of attitude or even worrying that it was close to closing time . the Kitchen staff and the cooks prepared our meals perfectly and without any issues. We were not rushed or hurried at all . we were treated as a guest that was welcome. Our waitress was excellent very polite and friendly never worried about the time and very attentive to our needs . drinks were always full or replaced . the entire staff was polite and courteous to all the guests in the restaurant . i have been here several times at various times of the night and have never felt like i was just a check . this Restaurants policy is to take care of the guest and they have never deviated from that policy . I have been to other steak houses in Spartanburg and have felt like all they cared about was my wallet. And the wait staff only cared about their tip before i even got my drinks . but tonight was a wonderful evening with what i would classify as an evening out with friends because that's the way they treated us and made us feel . i will say our waitress never made it about a tip and never tried to shame us about a tip like the other waitress at Texas Roadhouse did we had just sat down and the first thing out of her mouth was the last table i waited on only left me $5.00 as a tip.I didn't want to say was your service worth that much. But i have never heard that from anyone at Outback steakhouse. And their service is well worth more than the 35% tip i left tonight. Now don't get me wrong i would have left more but that was all the cash i had on me . this young lady was exceptional and is a privilege to have her as our waitress.Thank you for a very enjoyable evening and thank you for treating us just the same as if we had been your first customer of the night even though we were. Last ones in the restaurant you are a great asset for this Outback steakhouse and again THANK YOU.....
Staff was amazing, Steak was perfectly cooked, cleanliness was on point but! Appetizers blooming onion I've never tasted so much salt on something fried in my life!! I couldn't tell you if the dipping sauce was good because the over power of salt was too much!! After eating I was presented the check without even being offered a dessert menu! Thank God there was a ice cream place next door. Staff!!100% Atmosphere 100% food %50-50
I'm giving my starts to my waitress Melissa, because my steak was cooked horrible they need some more supervision in the kitchen. But the waitress handled everything an made sure I was satisfied she is superb ? ? ? ? Thank you for being on top and making it a better experience. I will be returning but only for her!!!!
The atmosphere is great. The food is not so much. You'd think a kinda upscale place like this wood wow you with whatever you order but it really doesn't. The burger I ordered was supposedly to come with "spicy pickles" but they were cucumbers still, not even a hint of pickling done to them so yeah way to go on that. And my husband chicken he ordered was flavorless.However our waitress was wonderful.
Went to outback back for valentine's day got there at 230p went right to table. Waitress was so sweet. Food was fast and very tasteful. Today was also my Man's birthday they took time to sing happy birthday on such a busy day.
My house salad didn't have everything in it ( croutons, cheese and extra cucumbers), my steak was burnt, they forgot my side of Mac n cheese... My bake potato was suppose to be plain with just butter. I got a potato withe cheese with bits of pieces of bacon I guess, which the waitress made right... My daughter's chicken tenders were hard... I think it had something to do with the grill and grease not being cleaned... Regardless of everything I still paid on one bill for myself, my sister, and my daughter. It came up to $94 and some odd cents. I didn't complain. I didn't won't to aggravate the waitress than she already was. I was just disappointed overall. It was noon on January 28, 2022. We arrived early for dinner. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. Food was great! Love the bread and butter, soups, salads!! The chili and onion soup are great. My husband loves their chicken tender plate.
This is the worst Outback I have ever been to. My family and I gave this place 3 chances, no more. Every time there is always an issue. Last time was the most ridiculous. Waited over an hour for a table. When we asked why we couldn't sit at one that was empty we were told the waitress for that table was not available. Yet the table next to it was full and had a waitress. We were told she was too busy with that table to take on another. The table only had 5 people, we were a party of 3. Finally seated only to be told what we ordered wasn't "cooked yet" at 4pm on a Saturday. We left right away. The 1 star is for the waiter because he was very nice.
