Went there tonight with my friend after having not been in a few years. Our servers name was Traci & it was her first night. She was absolutely awesome. Our orders were accurate, our drinks stayed filled & she was very attentive. She was friendly & made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down.I truly enjoyed my experience.
We were traveling to Knoxville TN and stopped to get a quick lunch. It took more than an hour to be seated, order our lunch, be served and pay our check. We finally had to find the manager to get our check. Sadly there was no more than 12 people in the restaurant. Most of the time the staff was not present in the restaurant and the manager only came out of the back when I asked for her. I described my issues to the manager and she only had excuses (I was unloading a truck, I had to work the line, it's the server's first day...). Never an apology for the terrible service. Also the carpets were dirty and the bathroom issues described over a year ago in another review have gotten worse. Avoid this O'Charley's.
If you want a horribly brown and wilted salad then sure it’s the best place to eat. You have to be pretty incompetent to screw up a salad. NEVER AGAIN.
Picked out what I was going to order from their menu before getting there. To my surprise this is what my order came out to be compared to the 3 large pieces of fish in their photo. And asked for French fries to be extra extra crispy. Most were not even crispy. Very disappointed. We use to eat at O'Charlies all the time in Michigan before we moved. Now we are moving to SC and this is what we got.
Decided to have dinner here. Sat right down at the bar. Waited over a half hour to get ask what we were drinking. Had to ask for menus awhile later. Half hour later someone takes our order. Husbands salad came out but no utensils. He went up front and ask for them and they had to put down their phones to make up a set. In the meantime the couple next to us put a $20 bill down and left. I saw why when an hour later their food came out. We were told several times our food was being plated. Finally got our food. It was good. The place was getting close to closing time. Waiting to pay our bill and a couple of the teen girls that were up front started a fight..we paid and left as walking out the door a lady that was there for a party was telling her ride that they ordered food 2 hours ago and just got it all in togoboxes. The restaurant was not crowded by any means. We saw lots of employees but only a few actually working. Never saw a manager person. 1 star because when our food finally came it was good. Not a good atmosphere with the kids fighting. Not going back and will tell others of our experience. .
I actually enjoyed here a lot. First time trying it ever in my life and i truly believe it was a great experience. The waitress was very tentative to our needs and checking to make sure we were taken care of. I really like the inside with the wall art, it gives off a modernized history to the scenery. I plan on going back.
My family and I decided to give this restaurant another chance yesterday and I’m so glad we did. We had a baptism at church so about 10 of us decided to go eat. Our waitress Billie was exceptionally attentive and helpful. I spoke with the Genera Manager and let her know the poor experience we had in the past and how much we enjoyed coming back. She was so happy to hear and it showed on her face. Also the host named Brett was absolutely the best part of our visit. So helpful and nice. Just a sweet soul. I just wanted some recognition for these guys because it is a complete different atmosphere in there now and I am for one grateful
Ordered the catfish sandwich, it came out with the tiniest piece of fish on only one half of the sandwich, and was missing pickles and sauce. Second sandwich arrived still without sauce, it was very dry and boring. Picked a few bites out of it and didn’t like it enough to finish half. When the bill came nothing had been comp’d and I paid $15 for a meal I took a few bites of. Wasn’t angry just disappointed and a bit upset that I spent that money for nothing.
I do not usually like to post bad reviews but I did try to call about my experience and could never get anyone to answer. I love to go to O Charley's but cannot get anyone to go with me so I called it in for pick up last night, The Chicken Tenders were good as usual but they only gave me 1 small ramekin of Honey Mustard (1 was not even half full) for 5 Chicken Tenders (I had 2 orders of Chicken Tenders). I ordered 8 additional rolls with extra butter and got only the 8 rolls which is not terrible but I only got 2 butters for 8 rolls no extra and no butter at all for my baked potato. In addition to all of this I wanted to try the peach cobbler, I ordered 1 and paid for 2, got 2 containers and 1 only had maybe 2 spoonfuls in it, the other was full, however the dough in the cobbler was not done and you cannot get it browned after it is cut so I had to toss it. Not a very good experience, especially considering that I really like their chicken and go out of my way to pick it up when I am over there.
Where do I start? The MealEverything was fine at first, then almost 15 minutes later it went downhill. Waited almost an hour for a bad, almost cold meal. Everything was plain and not seasoned well. The ServiceAlthough our waitress was nice, we asked for condiments and waited about 10 minutes, only to get nothing. My father had to find his own sauce at an empty table. The waitress constantly talked to people instead of getting our stuff and didn't look like she was extremely busy with any customers. On top of that, the group that came in at the same time as us, got their food AND left before we even got our food. We even started wondering if they forgot about us. By the time we got our food, the restaurant was silent because everyone already left. When we were on our way to leave, there were people waiting at the entrance. Hopefully their service and meal was better than ours.Overall, the service and meal was bad.If I could rate it 0 stars I would. For a first experience, we won't be coming back, and I recommend anyone who reads this to consider eating somewhere else.
