We loved eating here. Our waitress, Clarissa was fantastic. She answered all of our questions and waited on us in a timely manner and always had a beautiful smile. I had the Southern burger with fries and it was amazing. My husband had the lamb burger and loved it. Oh and I cannot forget the very tasty bloody Mary that I ordered too. It was yum yum fabulous! We will definitely be going back!
Jeff was a Great server! He was very polite & made sure I had everything I needed! The food was delicious and it was out in no time ?
Traveling Spartanburg and decided to stop at the Local fig. We ordered Hot Turkish Kebabs which came with rice,greek yogurt, pita bread & hummus. All which was really good; we also ordered onion rings & jalapeño poppers for an appetizer which did not disappoint. Very good spot with a very old fashioned vintage look, which we appreciated! I definitely recommend. It was also held in the Main Street “downtown” area which was great for walking around & exploring the local bars/ buildings.
My daughter and I had wonderful time during brunch on Saturday. The food and service was awesome. Our waitress Sabrona was outstanding!! Can’t wait for my next visit.
I ordered "The American" burger and it was outstanding 5/5 but my wife had pulled pork nachos and said they just okay. Overall experience was good and Jeff was fantastic. Will definitely be back! - Update: Came back again the burgers are next level but the onion rings are flavorless and the sour cream and onion fries are soggy.
We have been wanting to try this restaurant and finally did. It was delicious and so much fun! Everyone there was beyond nice! Our waitress is also the Bartender and went above and beyond. Best mimosa ever and my husbands steak was so flavorful! Perfect.
We were visiting Spartanburg during a house-hunting expedition to SC. We stumbled upon a small, family-run place called Local F.I.G., liked the looks of some unique dishes on the menu, so we popped in. Our server, Cam, had the greatest personality ever ... his smile was genuine, and we were treated like old friends. He went to great lengths to explain some of the unique menu items, which we very much appreciated. We loved the lamb wraps (a Turkish dish), and even though the sweet potato fries were a tad too greasy for my liking, I found the crispier ones to be quite delicious. We would definitely seek this restaurant out when visiting the area in the future, and would encourage anyone reading this review to do the same.
First time here and we will Def be back. Best Omelette we have ever had. The thin layers of perfectly cooked egg blended with the gooey cheese and fresh veggies was to die for and then there was the COOP! Flakey biscuits piled high with pimento cheese chicken filet and Hollandaise sauce. Makes you want to slap your Grandma. Can’t wait to come and try more. If you love Mimosas the Mimosa bar is for you. Fill a carafe with favorite juice or mixture and toss in fresh fruit, Grab a bottle of Bubbles and no way you can go wrong. 10 stars easy!!!!
Great experience. Their manager seated us and spent her time answering all our questions. Her recommendation of biscuits and gravy with chicken was AMAZING!! Almost had to get more to-go just so we could have them later. Their fried french toast was a little to much fried for my personal taste but was still very good. 10/10 would recommend and will be going again.
It’s always great my bartender makes me wonderful Raspberry LIT… my first experience was not one to write about but Trudy made it amazing… the bartenders on that shift were horrible they made horrible drinks and had the attitude to match ? I say that to say that they were so horrible 2 girls mid day that I almost never returned bc they were so nasty and dismissive. That was Aug. 2021…and before Jeff… fast forward each time I have came in I’ve been serviced by the same bartender and he’s been amazing each and every time! Last time the owner delivered my food and I could see pride as he placed the beautiful plates! I’m sure Jeff was my server/bartender and he was amazing and is every visit no matter how busy!!! On my day off I plan a visit there to sit, take in the atmosphere, on my mommy daughter date… they never disappoint. Hidden gem… tucked away hit def an all around hit!!!Chicken and Pancakes are AMAZING and the mozz sticks too…. And if cam is there request his Raspberry Long Island it’s top notch!!!
