BBQ was fine. Sauce was bland. Nothing to write home about. Did not like the peach cobbler at all. It seemed more like this mush with peaches in it. People and service was nice.
Hash was disappointing. I’ve had hash from all over and usually go to Gaffney to pick it up but this place is close to me so I wanted to try it. I’ve never eaten hash with barbecue sauce in and with no onions or at least none you could see.
WoW is all I can say!! Our food was extremely delicious and the staff was so thankful and helpful. Even the owner came over to thank us for stopping in. The homemade Mac and cheese was amazing, the BBQ hash was exactly what I was looking for. I even added some secret sauce for an extra sweet zing. The fries, coleslaw and baked beans were just mouth watering. I rarely rave this much about any restaurant but I can definitely say I'll be visiting this one again.
Bland! Bland! and more Bland are the only words that I can come up right now, nor was I impressed with the dry box made desserts with the exception of the banana pudding which was pretty decent. We were very disappointed with our meal no salt, no season was very tasteless was w,manting a refund but just asked for to go boxes.....never knew
My first funny mini story experience visiting here today 4/28/2022, I rode my electric e-bike here to lock it up in the back area and two woman one younger and one a bit older ran out thinking I was trying to steal a car. I was leaning over to put 2 locks on my electric e-bike so they obviously saw me from a angle with a blind eye sight view.It is a great funny way to be met with a few little piggy employees, but overral it was a fun great first time visit despite a misunderstanding on their part.. As for the food it was a great first time experience as the fries where great and the hash and BBQ where very enjoyable along with their secret sauce & mild sauce. The employee lady's where top notch and very friendly and I will surely be coming back. Thanks again as this place is only 3-4 blocks being 1/2 a mile from my location which is great.
Food was good. We had the ribs fries and hushpuppies.However the service is terrible. They took our order and we had to beg and wave over waitresses to get refills or we never would have gotten a refill. We asked for a Togo box they never brought it. 3 lady's working out front and none of them seem to want to their job.We would not return just based on the service which is sad because the food is really good.Update 4-30-22Service is still terrible. Took 30mins to get our food was sitting there for almost 15 minutes before a waitress ever came to our table.
Would get 5 stars, but for raising prices.
Bbq is the best.. And the mac and chez is too good. Friendly staff
This was my first time trying and I was very disappointed. My coworkers raved about the chicken stew so I was very eager to try it. I ordered my food online and got it delivered to me through DoorDash. The food was cold, and the chicken stew was watery with no flavor.. There were very small strings of chicken which made it more like broth than stew.
Hands down Best Hot dogs! The service was very friendly! We will definitely be in again to try the BBq.
