Easter morning we had the buffet and it was very nasty! No flavor at all $46 dollars for 4 people. Wish we would have went to the Waffle House oh well you live and learn ! We won't be back
Today my little family had dinner at the Golden Corral! WOW! This is the mother of all buffets ! The steak hot off the grill is cooked to order and perfection! There is a huge selection of veggies ! The salad bar is on par with anyone’s ! They have bread ,soups, and a big desert bar ! They are a bit pricey. My senior buffet was 14.49 . A little high but still doable! I managed to get my money’s worth! I had four perfect steaks and two different veggies for sides ! All things considered, this is still a 5 star restaurant !!!!!!!
This place used to be a low priced, delicious place to eat. But not anymore. The food is still decent, but the pot roast was mostly fat, which never used to be the case. And the cost has gone up dramatically. Wife and I spent $40 just for the two of us. If I wanted to spend that much I'd stay home on my couch and use Door Dash, and not have to deal with being around so many people. Also, there were no clean plates, we had to wait for them to bring some out. Oh, and no salt shaker on our table, which I get it, it happens, however, when we asked the waitress for one, she brought us one that still had a sticker over the holes (didn't bother to remove it before bringing it to the table), sat it down, and walked away without a word. And WHEN and WHY did they stop having spoons readily available? Yeah, it'll be a long time, if ever, before I go back there. Sad how far downhill it has gone.
Liked the disposable gloves at each station to cut down on germs.The food was good. The buffet was kept clean and well stocked with fresh food. Server was very attentive. We had a party of 9 (my grandma's 85th birthday; she will only eat out at buffets or she feels the money spent was wasted??).
My bf and I ate at GC in Spartanburg Sc on Saturday 01/08/22. The restaurant was clean, our server was great. He kept our drinks full and brought us a clean glass with refills. And kept the table clean. The food was delicious. Everything was hot, fresh and available every time we went up to the buffet. The steaks were on point. Good job.
For the money honey you can't beat this place. The fried chicken is so fresh and hot. It seems the mashed potatoes were real with gravy. Salad was good. These are the things I go for, not dessert. I will definitely go back. Oh you can have a burger especially made too.
Awesome variety of good food.. a little bit of everything.. and the waitress was very nice and never let my tea get low..she was steadily topping it off. I really enjoyed eating here.
It's okay, if you like buffets. When I went they must of been trying to catch back up from a rush or something, because all the workers were all out of sorts. Everything was dirty, and the stuff they cleaned in a hurry didn't get very clean. I ended up using plastic wear because of it. I'm sure on a slower day it would have been alright. But due to the covid times, I really wouldn't recommend any buffets, a lot of people weren't using the glove's or they would put them on the wrong hand (not their serving hand) and then there were a lot of children, and children are just unsanitary. Wiping their nose then grabbing food with hands. Gross.
The freshest Golden Corral experience so far in the upstate for me. I have tried Anderson, Greenville but by far this is it from sides to main dishes. This is it !
Make sure you have a appetite when you visit....great selection of any type of meal you are in the mood for..great price and nice service for your dining experience..
