Great food, good service, fun atmosphere!
I was actually surprised that the place wasn’t packed on an early Saturday evening. The food was excellent I got a quarter dark what kind of hot and my lips and mouth were just right kind of numb when I was finished. The sides were outstanding the cowboy caviar was interesting and different and hush puppies were off the chain. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor is fun and there is outside seating but it’s 94° at 5 o’clock in the afternoon right now. I look forward to trying this restaurant again in the near future and getting the barbecue
This is now officially one of my favorite places to eat! The shrimp and grits with collards was amazing! I asked for spicy as it comes and wasn’t let down! The atmosphere is fantastic and owner and staff super friendly and personable! DELICIOUS!!! ??
Went to The Flock Shop today for lunch. Food was awesome, but our server Michael was OUTSTANDING! So friendly, made sure we always had drinks and anything we needed. He also never made us feel rushed as we hung out chatting. Definitely will be back!
We really like the variety of chicken options at the Flock Shop. Our favorites are the Down South sandwich, with pimento cheese and smoked bacon (yum!) on a large, juicy and crispy chicken breast. It's delicious. When I'm feeling guilty, I go with the health nut salad with chicken on top. It's a nice mix of crunchy with different flavors. They have indoor and outdoor seating along the Mary Black bike/walking trail and a casual, laid back atmosphere.
This restaurant was one of my top restuarants to go to because I love reviewing different chicken places around the Upstate. And it did not disappoint! First of all, the ambiance and the building was part vintage and modern at the same time. You can tell that they try to implement their style with a carshop-style vibe. This place was a Crown gas service station in the 1950s before becoming Pine Street Motors, and then now Flock Shop. In regards to the service that I received, my waiter was amazing! She was very considerate that I was new eating there and provided detailed information and suggestions. We also had special requests that were met with a prompt and professional fashion. With the food, I ordered the Half Bird Alabama White style (breast&wing; thigh&leg) and my wife ordered the Quarter Dark meal Korean BBQ style. Sides were mac and cheese, coleslaw, fries, and grits. First of all, the sides were immaculate. Mac and Cheese has a spicier cheese to it which was new. Grits and coleslaw was helpful to balance the fiery hot chicken. Fries were done right, not soggy and thick. The chicken was the main attraction for me. I got the hottest spice choice but it didnt ruined the taste of the actual juicy chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with fat juices flowing from every bite. I believe that they double fried their chicken because man, they were the crispiest chicken Ive ever had. I would recommend getting the half-bird meal because you get more meat and you can eat it later on! In comparison to the Rocky's Hot Chicken in Greenville, both are equivalent to each other. Rocky's is a more Nashville spicy dry rub style so its more dry and ALOT more spicy. Flock's is more drench with their spicy sauces which some might like better. Overall, an incredible experience and I would love to go back again!
This is literally my favorite chicken restaurant to eat at! All of their options for food are amazing! The chicken is always cooked so well! I love all of their chicken sandwiches and all of the sides are literally delicious. And the staff is ALWAYS the nicest! I've never had any problems with this place! I 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone looking to chill, grab a beer, and eat!

Flew in yesterday from New Hampshire to visit our friends that moved down here..Flock Shop was on our list of places to eat at. It was our first stop for food and WOW!! Our server was Bree and she was amazing, attentive without being intrusive and she knew her stuff..the Mac and cheese fritters with pimento cheese sauce is a must have!! We also got hush puppies and dipped them in the pimento cheese sauce too...this should be another app on their menu..drinks were great. As a matter of fact everything was great..We are definitely going back before we leave and thank you Bree for the amazing service!!
Hubby and I have been wanting to stop by this restaurant for a while; glad we had the chance over the weekend before Memorial Day. The chicken fried ribs were amazing!!! We loved the fried bread & butter pickles added to the dish. Yummy!!The chicken was so delicious as well. Hubby had the Korean BBQ chicken, while I chose the Flock chicken.Special mention goes to the Arnold Palmer (half lemonade/half unsweet tea). This was probably one of the best, most refreshing ArniePs I've ever had!!
