Love this place! I crave the toffee, especially the dark chocolate! It is a great place to support local and pick up some great gifts for everyone (as long as they like toffee, but they better!!)

Dottie's Toffee in downtown Spartanburg has amazing ice cream! The service was great. Dogs are welcome and they offer frozen dog desserts (not dairy free when we went) so there's something for whole family, even the 4 legged members. They also have outdoor seating.
Small ice cream and toffee place with some amazing desserts. The ice cream is rich and creamy, some of the best I've had. Undeniably better than chain ice cream parlors by far. They source out of Charleston, but I'd swear the ice cream was made just behind the counter. Fresh, bright, and delicious. In addition to ice cream, Dottie's sells toffee in various forms and sizes. Though I didn't purchase toffee directly, the toffee ice cream with crumbles of toffee on top was fantastic. Sweet, crunchy, but with a bold flavor profile. I'll almost certainly be back to pick up a bag to munch on. Pricing was extremely fair, especially for the quality. I got a small waffle cone for around $3, which is completely reasonable. Instead of some weird pricing schedule where different containers have different costs, you pay by the amount of ice cream and choose whether it goes into a bowl or either cone for no premium. Definitely worth a visit, Dottie's Toffee serves as an excellent complement after lunch or dinner at one of the fine restaurants in downtown Spartanburg.
