We had been told to check out the restaurant scene in downtown Spartanburg. After we were seated and welcomed by our waitress she asked if we had been before. Since we were newbies we were given a free order of pimento cheese fritters which were awesome! Nice beer list and nice list of specials. Waitress ran through the menu and made some nice suggestions. I had the special Swangus smash burger (local grass fed beef) and my colleague had the ribs. We split an order of the crispy Brussels sprouts. Burger was very good, ribs were given a 7/10, and Brussels were amazing. So many good looking dishes on the menu we agreed we’d for sure come back when in town.

I love Cribbs! We eat here often when we’re in the area. The pimento cheese fritters are amazing! The salads are huge and everything I’ve eaten there has been excellent!!Roxy TateSC/NC REALTOReXp Realty

The last time I ate here it was delicious so I decided to try again. I order two side orders of asparagus and 2 doctor peppers which was apparently $16. When I first called I was on hold for 7 minutes before someone answered I was fine cause I was like there probably business when I went in most of the servers were sitting down talking to each other. Just let it slide then I got my food and was very disappointed. I got a small cup like from McDonald’s for $3!!! Then I got my asparagus it was 5 little asparagus for $5!!! That is outrageous I could go to the store and buy a bunch of asparagus for that price. Below is the picture of my asparagus. Don’t recommend.

We had the pimento cheese dip for appetizer - I thought it was very good and my husband thought it was excellent. It’s sort of like a spicy queso as the cheese is hot and melted. For entrees, I had the special shrimp pasta farfalle which was very garlicky and very shrimpy tasting. My husband had the ribeye which was crusted with blue cheese, mashed potatoes and broccoli instead of haricot vert which he enjoyed although it was hard to eat. I tried the cheesecake which was good. Next time I will probably try a sandwich or burger.

Y'all gotta check this place out. I love the fries with the parmesan cheese! So good! I've eaten here several times and it's always delicious. My first visit I got the pastrami mommy (see photo) and the fries and was totally blown away. Customer service/table service was polite and not overbearing. They also have outdoor seating which is nice on a warm day. And it's right off one of the main roads in the city. My ONLY complaint is the parking lot just doesn't have the capacity to fit all the people who want to eat! But there is public parking nearby at least, so it was not super inconveniencing.

Great food and service. Lots of variety and food selection. Had Swiss and mushroom burger, The Fun Guy and it was excellent. Also incredible Brussels. Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal and always great service.

The fried chicken sandwich was Really good for such a basic menu item and so were the sweet potato fries and sauces.

We had a party of 11. We had such a Great time!

Good food. Good service. We ate there for Sunday brunch. People are lined up before it opens. We had four breakfast entrees and two burgers and everyone liked it.

Not mozzarella sticks but close. Had the pimento balls which I'd rare A. The burger was okay, meat pattie was a little bland. But the fries were good. Bartender and staff were quite polite.
