First time we did take out from here; food was PHENOMENAL!! I’ve had Thai from other places as well, and they are all good but this Thai food was amazing and full of flavor til the next bite! They also pile a lot of food which is awesome and totally worth the 35 minute drive to come get!!! We will be back for sure! Thank you Bangkok!!!
Food: This is a place that being there forever, because they have few dishes that are consistently Great (Like the Pat Thai and Curry dishes, but they destroy it when they compromise and served re-heated leftover of very old low-quality ingredients such as Bad Snapper fish. - Appetizers: terrible chicken satay. Fresh spring rolls (Not available) - Entrée/main dishes: Terrible - Deserts: Not worth the try Drinks: Nothing worth the try Service: They need people someone who can serve other than the owner. Ambience/atmosphere: They need new seats for the booths. No cushions. >15 years old passed their lifetime. Value: Waste of money Overall rating! 2 out of 5 Recommendations: Avoid tis place…. Not for you, UNLESS you are a loyal local that only try one dish every time and they know you so they can provide you with fresh ingredients.
Since moving to SC, I have been looking around for good places to eat. I’ve now been in this establishment a couple of times and I must say, the food has been consistent and full of flavor. The curry to the papaya salad doesn’t disappoint. I have yet to try their pho dish but I’m planning on it.
Service is always very polite, and friendly. The presentation of the food is lovely. Everything i have ordered has been amazing, always comes hot ?. We will be returning.Thank you for the experience.
Delicious food. Fresh rolls and Bangkok Duck were fabulous. Very friendly and attentive service. Wonderful visit to their restaurant.
Super long wait to get seat and food. Spent more than an hour there. Curry dishes are way sweeter than Thai food should be.Awful and will never go back.
Came in with a family of 4. We were seated right away. The service was great. The pad thai was some of the best I've had in the upstate. My oldest son loved his garlic beef. My wife said her lettuce wraps were very good. My youngest loved the rice but didn't care for the hibachi stake. He said it was dry and cheap tasting. The price is reasonable for what you get. I would recommend giving them a try.
This is our go-to for Pho and Tom Kha! The rocket shrimp appetizer is good too. Always a nice experience when dining in. We had Kim as our server last night and I just have to say, she is outstanding at her job! She is the reason I came on here to write this review. We will be requesting her from here on out. Food was delicious, reasonably priced. Manager came over and introduced herself and got to know us. Cozy place that was nicely decorated for a fall meal.
This is my go to pho restaurant. Their pho is probably one of the best around town. I'm giving it a 4 because there will be times when I Doordash and I get old broth. Just disappointing when you were looking forward to a hot fresh aromatic meal after a long day. Also their portion size is a hit or miss. Sometimes I get a good amount of noodles to fill me up and other times not enough noodles.
