If I could I would rate this a three point five but I can so I will give them a four. The food was good and we were seated fast, but we didn't see much of our waitress; she was friendly, but I didn't see much none the less. As I looked around I didn't see a lot of connection between the guest and the waiters and waitresses. I would go again to give them another try because at the least the food was good quality and I didn't have to wait long.
Things started out well with server Meghan E., but went downhill quickly. After she delivered our food we never saw her again to see if all was ok. Yet she spent about 10 minutes at the booth behind us talking about her boyfriend’s car, and how hair and cars were “her thing”. And that she’s never done black people’s hair. I sat my empty wine glass at the edge of the table, but she never asked if I wanted a refill. I didn’t, but would have like a Sprite. She must have heard my husband and I quietly commenting about the situation, and pretty much slammed the tab on our table. Yet because we are decent people we left her a $10 tip. Normally it would have been 20. If you have a job in the hospitality industry, do it well or get out.
My family and I arrived in town late last night & had a wonderful dinner here. I wish I remembered our fantastic waitress’ name. I called this afternoon to try & give her a shout out, but was placed on a long hold.Our waitress was fast, accurate, friendly, and accommodating. My husband and I couldn’t believe the patience she showed with how busy the restaurant was, us having our kids with us, etc. Great service & experience!
We decided to give this location a try due to my son picking this for his birthday. We were initially told that we could be immediately seated when we called the location but once we arrived we were told to we would have to wait 30 minutes. No big deal... We were eventually seated and our waitress Bri was extremely professional and patient as we had 9 people and an infant. The food was overall decent with no major complaints and all requested temperatures seemed to have been met as we requested. Only complaints was the draft beer we had was sour but was immediately taken off of our bill and we were brought bottles to make things right. Good staff and for our party the food was good. Keep up the good work and maybe get a online reservation system to rule out the long wait times.We definitely would request Bri if we ever decide to have dinner here again!
WOW, The service and food was amazing. The renovation is gorgeous as well. We have not been to this restaurant since it had been renovated. We were missing out. We had a limited time to get in and eat, so I was a little hesitant. I should not have been. Caderia got our order in and to the table within 15-20 minutes. I could not believe how fast our food came out. I was delicious and the man who brought it to us was just as friendly. I HIGHLY recommend you visit this Applebee's if, like us, you didn't have a great experience in the past (before COVID). It is GREAT now.
We will not go back to this location EVER! We arrived and were seated in a few minutes, which for a Friday night is okay. But the only table for us ( a table for 5) was at the very back near the only fire exit.(see photo). Our server had to work around a table of 8-10 screaming kids in town for a dance competition of some kind. 8-10 year old's on sugar rushes.Our food and appetizers arrived okay. But the draft from the seals around the exit door were terrible!It should also be mentioned that I work in life and fire safety and have a background with fire issues. It would be a very good idea for a fire Marshall to make an inspection. Not to mention that the place only has ONE working restroom with broken towel dispensers and overflowing trash cans.We had to give up having any type of conversation due to the noise from the kids and their moms at the next table. As dinner went on their wine and sodas were flowing so much the server had to keep clearing their table.I would have given a lower rating but Our server was doing his best and we did leave him a good tip.
I love Applebee's just about everywhere else, but this one seems to deliver consistently bad experiences to me and my wife. So much so that we would rather drive 30 min to the next closest one, then go to this one, just down the road. It had been a while since we tried this one so we thought maybe they had gotten better, and we were wrong. Now, you can disagree with me on this if you would like, but when it comes to to-go orders I don't feel like a tip is necessary. Tips are for the servers and we didn't sit in to be served. However, when I picked up the food, the man at the pick up booth put the receipt in front of me and half pointed at the tip area and asked me to "fill it out." I want to cut them slack on the temperature just because it was to-go but I live minutes away and by the time I got home the food was luke warm to cold. We ordered two dishes that came with broccoli and only received one order of broccoli that had an unusual taste that nearly made my wife throw up. The mashed potatoes came in a decent sized container... but only barely covered the very bottom of said container. The meat was good aside from temperature. We had chips and dip as an appetizer but the chips were covered in nearly inedible amounts of salt and the dip was as cold as the rest of the food. I would not recommend coming here.
Ordered two salads, one was great, the other was completely wrong (ordered shrimp Cesar but got grilled chicken salad. Company was nice after I told them and gave me a coupon for my next visit. (Too far for me to drive to correct it that night)
The staff was very friendly and hospitable.We were seated fairly quickly.Our waitress was very helpful in pointing out the value meals.The only issue I had was I received dirty eating utensils which were wrapped bin a napkin.You woo think that whoever wraps the knife and fork in the napkin could clearly see they were dirty.Anyway once I requested clean utensils, I was offered plastic instead.I really did want to eat with plastic, I was not purchasing take out,but at least they were cleaner and sanitary.The food was delicious and appropriately portioned.The prices are reasonably priced and the staff tries to be attentive.
My daughter and I went out for a mother/daughter dinner. I had the sirloin with potatoes. My steak was beyond overcooked and found a hair in my potatoes. They did make it right by taking mine off of the bill so I have no complaints with the manager at all I would just suggest they improve their cooking skills and safety of food preparation
