I moved to Greenville about a year ago and have been looking for that special local restaurant that becomes my go too and ladies and gentlemen I have found it!The Spice Diner is by far the best restaurant I have eaten at since moving here. Let's start with the menu. It's a larger menu with quite a few amazing dishes to choose from but it's not overwhelming large. The price point for this restaurant is excellent, I paid 19.05 for a lot of food. Honestly I feel they may be a bit underpriced.I order lunch for me and my mother via a phone pickup order. The staff member that answered the phone was polite and extremely helpful. She made sure everything was correct and insured I had everything I needed before hanging up. When picking up the gentleman at the drive thru was incredibly courteous and friendly. I order the chicken sandwich and chili cheese fries, my mom ordered the steak finger meal and substituted a baked potato for the fries. The food was nicely packaged and hot when I got home with no errors or issues.Let's talk about the food......... freaking amazing! The chicken sandwich was crispy and well seasoned with lettuce, mayo and tomato. The Chili cheese fries were salty pieces of heaven covered in gooey cheese and chili. The steak fingers were well seasoned and tender but the stand out was that baked potato! My gosh that was the best baked potato me or my mom had ever had! Well seasoned, soft and just perfect! Now as much as I loved the food I was not a huge fan of the chili, I am just use to a more wet chili, this felt more like chili flavored ground beef, but still delicious. The other thing was the steak fingers, back in Tucson, Arizona there was a place called Lucky Wishbone that did steak fingers that were more crunchy and we are just missing that. However these are amazing just not our style.Overall The Spice Diner is a amazing local restaurant that definitely deserve your business. Take the family and partake in some of the best food I have in Greenville. We will definitely be back to try everything on tha menu!

Spice Diner is a favorite go to restaurant. The food is always good and large portions. The staff is friendly. Pricing is excellent.

The place was dirty. Tables were not cleaned off, food on the floor, what appeared to be mold inside the ceiling lights. The waitress was not at all friendly and never checked back with us. Her uniform shirt had holes in it. The fries were good. Onion rings were way over cooked, the roast beef was dry and tough, au jus was tasteless, as was the coleslaw.

First time visitor today. The food was dry, and over cooked! It was either old or microwaved, and barely luke warm.Positive side was that theService staff was excellent!!

It's a perfect little homestyle restaurant great service good Food Fair price and large portions. One word....delicious

Loved our waitress and the food. I had the Salisbury steak and had cheese sticks. Hope to squeeze in 1 more trip there before heading home.

Ate here about a month ago while visiting a buddy. Staff was very friendly. Gave it 2 stars because he treated, so I didn't pay. Ordered the roast beef sandwich, which was advertised as a specialty of the house. Barely edible. I think shoe leather would been easier to chew. Definitely not fresh. I think the roast beef is cooked once a week, and then reheated to order. I must have got it on day 5. My friend does love eating here. Granted he is trying to lose weight so getting the runs only helps him hit his target weight goal faster.

Great service. Large menu. Lots of choices. Generous portion sizes.

I’ve loved the spice diner for as long as we’ve been in the upstate. It’s good food & great service. The staff is friendly.

First time customer! Wow! The service was friendly and fast! The order was correct and still hot when I got it home! Delicious sweet potato casserole. Just overall very impressed. We will absolutely be back.
