I hate to write a bad review ; But today me and a number of family and friends want here today after church . WE were about a party of 13 the wait was not bad ; But after that everything want down hill . we had 6 separate orders the orders were taken all at the same time . we all received are drinks ; And that were it went down hill we all got are orders at different times with one of my friends having to give her order again after the rest of having already gotten are orders . the was a wait staff named joe that kept on insisting that the next time we come with a large group to call ahead so that they could be ready for us; when my friend ask for a discount because it had taken so long for her and her kids to get their food which the head waiter did with hesitation and slightly raised voice said I've taken 15dallors and some change off and handed her the ticket ; she was reviewing the ticket and noticed that the prices were wrong he then processed to agree with her about then grabbed the ticket and left and when he returned in a very loud voice said i took off 19 and change it that ok . It was load enough that anybody setting near or around us could hear that was very unprofessional of him . we had to get are own to go box's for her and the bags for her food . also the waitress hardly ever came around . we were not happy at all
Silver Bay is a nice clean awesome looking seafood restaurant super friendly stuff always make sure you have what you need’s are and they give you a lot of food for the money and is so tastyI really recommend that they have I think three location in our area Simpsonville Greenville and Easley South Carolina go check it out when you’re nearby you’re not gonna regret it
The food and the service was awesome. I love their perch and husband scarfed down his shrimp so fast i didn't have a chance to steal one from him-so i am assuming his was great too. The host and service staff were on top of things and kept us happy thru the whole meal...full drinks and all!!!
A good place for grandma’s
All it takes is one time even though I’ve been here several tonight completely ruined my dinner and my cravings for some fresh fish it not only taste like it was re-dropped in the grease but you can certainly see that it was. so disappointing no point in calling to complain it’s done now and I don’t feel like driving back out there
Tonight was our first time here and will not be our last. From the moment we walked in we we treated by very friendly employees. Our waitress Brittney made our dinning experience here outstanding! She by far was the best and friendliest waitress I can ever remember having. How she interacted with our boys and our whole family made us feel like she was not a waitress but a good friend that knew us personally. Our family want to thank her and all the staff at this restaurant for a great dinner! Oh ya food was great too! Can't wait to go back!
First time eating there. Wonderful food. Lucas was a great server (Simpsonville, SC). He was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I'm not a seafood fan , but my husband is. He said the shrimp ? was perfection. The chopped Sirloin steak I had was great. Thanks for a WONDERFUL MEAL. The Bells
The smell of the building was a little off-putting at first however after a few mins you get use to it. My tea was a little old however my soda was good and strong. The hush puppies weren't good to me but my husband liked them. My salad was good and fresh. The waitress was polite knowledgeable and delightful. My entree was delicious. I mean delicious and a nice portion. I ordered the grilled chicken and shrimp with rice pilaf. It was seasoned like somebody in the kitchen knew what they were doing. I plan on going back very soon.
Good experience. Food good. Ben, our waiter, did an outstanding job. Seemed like a great guy. Very pleasant kinda a person to talk to. Checked on us regularly while we were eating. Good waiter.
I have eaten at Silver bay a couple of times, and overall I am underwhelmed. I asked for my steak to not have pepper, so they used a deasoning - and lo and behold - it had pepper in it. They redid it without the seasoning - and the steak was not good. They depend on the seasoning to make the meat tasty. Last visit I ordered the sirloin hamburger - and it was the worst cut of meat ever. It tasted like liver - and was dry and overcooked. I can't recommend it at all. They don't allow much for substitution. Wanted a side salad instead of soup, and that isn't allowed. Waitstaff is nice, but the food isn't.
