Alright, so food-wise, the food is alright and is more on the meh side of things. Their prices though we're on the higher side of things for chinese takeout places. Which isn't an issue with me, but their quantity is a bit below average too. So like, the issues with this place aren't that it's bad, rather that its contemporaries are strong.Their general tso's chicken doesn't come with a random piece of broccoli, which may be a dub for some. You don't get a fortune cookie with your lunch order either, which again, doesn't matter to me but I know others love it.
How could anyone give them less than 5 stars ever. Incredible. There's nothing they could've improved on. Everyone spoke to us, they asked if we wanted the blinds closed to prevent the sun, they brought our food quickly, it was piping hot and tasted so amazing we went on about every dish and my children ate until they were stuffed as round as the enormous dumplings. They asked after us and gave us distance to be comfortable. I will literally go out of my way to only eat Chinese food at this restaurant. Thank you so much!
We have been customers here for about a year now ordering food almost once a week! We absolutely love their food. The General Tsos Chicken is a must in our family and the egg rolls are delicious! The delivery drivers are always quick and so kind to us and the food arrives pipping hot every time. This place is definitely worth a try! Make sure to tip these hardworking people what they deserve.
If I could give 4.5 Stars I would. 4 STARS means I like it. The service is very fast and concerned with customer satisfaction. Personnel are very friendly and polite.Food is good, prices are very fair, especially when considering the large portion size.We have dined in once and ordered carry-out once. This will now be my "go to" place for carry-out.Both times wife had broccoli chicken which she enjoyed. I had Mongolian Beef which was good. Plenty of beef (not sure what cut it was, but it was very tender), with generous quantities of green onions and yellow onions. I've also enjoyed the Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice (it could benefit from more veggies) and the Shrimp Eggrolls. Their eggrolls are very good.Dine in tables and the dining area is very clean and maintained that way. You can tell the difference between a dirty restaurant has been recently cleaned-up and one that's kept clean and not allowed to become "dirty". This place has probably never been messy. The kitchen is easily visible, many cooks at work and everything is clean including the floors.
My husband and i have been frequent customers here for years, the staff has always been polite and courteous. Tonight my husband picked up our to go order and was greeted by a severely rude lady that has absolutely zero business behind the counter interacting with customers. There were a total of four other customers there when this took place, one of which also fell prey to this lady's unprovoked tactless conduct. My husband will not entertain or provoke rude behavior, so the fact that he told her verbally "you are extremely rude and unprofessional" validates the level of disappointment and disbelief that this occurred at a place we've been loyal customers of for years.Management (or younger employee with common sense) did approach my husband and sincerely apologized for the incident.
Always great food except for yesterday. The pork chop suey tasted like the vegetables were left overs and not fresh :( Stick with chicken and broccoli :)
Excellent food. Prepared fresh and delicious. I had the beef and broccoli with fried rice and an egg roll.
I arrived on a stormy Tuesday evening, I was quite hungry and needed some good food. I am quite the nervous person and I have a crippling fear of doorways. Thankfully an employee by the name of om was able to guide me into the store. I was able to sit at my table with my 7 children and ordered the chefs special. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the restaurant and my phobia or roaches wasn’t bothered! The restaurant was very clean! I would visit here again! I would give Om a raise he asked me in and out, even holding the door for me and my 7 kids!! 7 stars for all my kids!!!
Tonight I placed an online order for dinner at Shanghai Tokyo. In my online order I ordered what they have labeled as Cream Cheese Wonton and in the convenient little note section I write "No Crab Please" as I do not eat crab at all whether imitation or not. I drive 15- 20 minutes from my house to get said Chinese food. I go and pick it up and then drive 15-20 mins back home to feed my family. We sit down to dinner and open up one of these wontons and what do you know, there are pink flecks and I immediately grab my receipt to make sure I asked for the right thing. I did. I then call the restaurant to check to see if this was normal for a cream cheese wonton to have pink in it. The person who answered the yad no idea how this food item was prepared and while speaking to her manager explained that it is imitation crab to which I explained that I dont eat ANY type of crab. She said they don't make them in the store but the place that they order from says that its imitation crab. I asked well what can be done to rectify this situation because I have now spent money on food that we cannot eat. The response was, I can drive another 40 minutes round trip to bring the food back. That was it. Their reasoning was that some people say they dont like food, eat it, but still request thier money back. Which I get, but you cannot punish ALL customers for the sins of a few! That was definitely not the case. This is unacceptable! This is terrible customer service! At any point during the preparation of my food they could have called and said that they do not offer a particular food item especially if a customer directly asks for something in writing. I will not patronize this store any more. You have lost a customer!
Really good Chinese food. They have all the standard items you're looking for. Service is quick and friendly. The house fried rice is loaded with shrimp!
