It's a small restaurant and pretty crowded. Food was decent enough for the price. I will say they have really friendly and hospitable staff. If I was rating them on staff alone, they'd get more than 5 stars. Only reason for the 3 star review is I personally don't like small crowded spaces. But I guess it's crowded for a reason.

My first time going and I had a blast. They have a great staff. My server was on point. They even make the guacamole in front of you, and a salsa bar. Must come to and try.
Varied menu, excellent food and lots of it. Food was plentiful and delicious. The service was great. Will definitely return. The price for the meals was very reasonable bordering on cheap. Lots of food little cost.
Welp, so me and my Sister's met for fellowship on Cinco De Mayo. We sat outside on the patio. A waiter came & atte.pted to take one of our Sister's seats, who was inside. Our waiter, Marco, got our bills mixed up w/a different table. Took longer for my food to come. Some guests joined us later, & Marco tried to give them our chips that we had placed trash in?
This P&B has very nice people working hard to get good food out quickly. They are good at their jobs, and the ($8 as of 4/2022) Mexican Chicken Caesar Salad has lots of fresh vegetables and tender hot chicken. What a value! My dining partner said the Chilada was great.
Papas and Beer has good food and a good atmosphere. It's not a high end place but you won't pay high end prices. Most people really like the salsa bar and they have a good selection with different flavors and levels of spice. The Carne Asada is excellent.
Just like previous review, i too were cheated with the prices. Prices on menu do not match your bill. They refuse to correct the bill or the issue. They have been updating their menus for 1 1/2 years per an emoloyee and its my fault because i didnt read their sign on the door. Funny part is i asked the waitess if prices were right on menu since this has happened at another location and waitress said menu was right. Oh thats my fault too because waitress is new and didnt know per lady at register. I will never go back and DO NOT RECOMMEND !
Stay away from this place. food is only mediocre, and they charged higher prices than is listed on the menu. When brought to managers attention, he was very argumentative.
Food was average taste for crappy mexacan food and our server was good BUT, When you check out, they charge higher prices than are on the menu. Manager acted like it was my fault somehow. I Will never go back.
