Lovely local restaurant that consistently has great food & great service. A must try - it will quickly become your favorite local neighborhood place.
Ordered a calzone, and a Stromboli… frankly it was gross. The dough was sweet like a yeast roll and soggy. The sauce was sweet like they dropped a Pune if sugar in it. It was nasty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I’m really disappointed since it had great reviews…
Good food, decent prices. Waiter recommended something a little different than what I was going to order and his recommendations were spot on.Have gotten pizza for carryout before but this was the first time dining in.Will definitely go back.
They really gave me the seafood pasta with only 5 little over cooked shrimp! I said no scallops all shrimp. So was it going to be 2 scallops and 3 shrimp with all them dang noodles for 18 bucks. Yea you got me this time! Won't have to worry about me ever again!!!
We ordered a chicken finger salad and a chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was terrible! The chicken was breaded chicken pressed patties. For the salad we asked for the chicken on the side and it was two chicken patties they cut into strips! The salad consisted of bag mixed lettuce 3 cucumber slices, 3 Greek olives, 1 peperoncini and two small tomato wedges. The sandwich was two doubled up chicken patties with cheese and ok tasting sauce but they put to much and it was soggy. Small portions and expensive for what we were served. $9.95 for salad and an extra $1.25 for cheese and just the sandwich with nothing else was also $9.95. This was the first and last time we will patronize this establishment!
After years of loving this restaurant, tonight was a total disaster. Our dad is shut in and we order from somewhere every Friday night to take and eat with him. Our order was $55 for 3 dinners. It wasn't made clear that pasta didn't come with two of the dinners. We ordered an extra pasta with sauce. And even though we were partially mistaken when calling to question it, the customer service, should have been "oh so sorry for the misunderstanding. Come on back and we can throw in a pasta with sauce, no problem." Just disappointed, I mean how much is it gonna hurt them to give 4 ounces of pasta and sauce? Food is always good there but this wasnt $55 worth.
It was good. The side Greek salad was a little disappointing, it had one slice of tomato, one kalmata olive and lettuce (I think that was all) but the dressing was really good. The spanakopita was good. Crispy crunchy outside but soft and yummy inside. It wasn't busy but it seemed the server didn't want us to stay because she only filled our drinks once. I understand not wanting us to linger too long so she could turn the table but it wasn't busy so I don't see why she couldn't give us more water. Oh well...we'll still go back.
Ordered take out for my birthday last night. Ferraro chicken was absolutely tender and delicious, husband had Italian combo oh so good. We will be back.
This restaurant is pretty good. It has general Italian food and some things such as burgers and wings. I will start off saying that the customer service is pretty good. The environment of the restaurant isn't my favorite, though. It's a place that has the low light levels and it's very quiet in the restaurant. It can be kind of weird sometimes, at least in my opinion. Some people like that ambiance, but it's just not my thing. One issue I do have with this restaurant though, is that the food isn't my favorite, especially compared to the price, because the prices are kind of high. Of course, I've also heard from other people that they really like the food, so it could just be me. Don't let the 3 star turn you away, though, because it could potentially just be me. In my honest opinion, the restaurant is just ok, but I would recommend you try it because you may end up liking it.
I ordered meat lasagna it was just okay, very soupy and only 1 layer or if any. Mostly meat and sauce with a little bit of cheese on top. Will i eat this again. (Nope)If you're reading this and won't the best Italian food of the upstate, visit Della Ventura's in Greer, most authentic around for the same price. Food is phenomenal.
