Hardly any teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki food. The chicken is extremely tough, dry, and chewy. The shrimp was good though.
The Crab Sushi Roll, fried oysters, plus the spring rolls, were all delicious! Excellent place to eat in or take out. Friendly customer service too!
Went to Joy of Tokyo in Simpsonville this was my first visit there I ordered chicken and shrimp it looked good but the chicken they use which is chicken breast it was very tough so I really didn't get to enjoy my meal but if I decide to go back again I will try something different hopefully that will be better
Hands-down this is my favorite location out of all of their stores. This location is clean and always gets my order right. They are fast and friendly. They entertain my children while cooking our food. You get exactly what you pay for. The food is exceptional. The location is great, I wish they had more parking spots however they always answer the phone if you place an order.

I came here craving yummy Japanese, the rice is undercooked and my meal is not hot it’s luke warm and I ate inside.. I wasn’t finished and it was cold so I stopped eating it :/ also the after taste is awful, I won’t come back. Also 10$ for just a vegetarian bowl that was gross
I never get tired of eating here!!! It is my absolute favorite place to eat. I’ve been eating JOT for 17 years!!!! Yum Yum!!!
Delicious sushi and the rice bowl I got was yummy and plentiful.
Not what it used to be. Shrimp was like rubber. Rice was also over cooked. Won’t be back anymore
