Service is always great. Food is good. It's just southern comfort food I guess you can say. We always enjoy it. Been going for years.
Great place to eat southern cooking. Country style steak with gravy, baked chicken, fried chicken livers, macaroni and cheese, squash casserole, oh my! Big portions.
I never do this! I mean never! But the way we were just treated needs to be told. We pulled up to the drive through and waited 10 mins with no one helping us. This is on a Sunday afternoon, we have now made a line where it’s out in the road. We pull up to the drive through window and tell the girl we tried to order at but we have sat there 10 mins and are making a huge line. She said sorry about that sometimes the bell doesn’t work. Then she takes our order, we pay and we wait …. And wait …. And wait … 6 cars behind us have now gotten their food and are gone and now there is a 7th car… I get out and walk towards the window behind us , and ask if they have forgotten about us? She said no but these people have ordered at the speaker and you drove up here … I said yes and I told you why and you took my order and we paid for it and you have now served 7 people that were behind us???The manager comes to the window tells me that he will give me my money back and we can leave without our food!!! Telling me I look ridiculous standing outside their window, asking him that??? I said it’s ridiculous we have been waiting 20 mins on food we ordered and paid for. Watching everyone behind us getting their order??? And now you’re telling me I’m ridiculous for getting out of the car to ask what’s going on??? It’s ridiculous I had to even do that!!!! Then treated like I am the problem??? Wow just wow!He said yes you can leave!I am so floored how this was handled and floored on how we were treated.
2/20/2022 Ordered a deluxe cheeseburger plate for lunch today well I get home there is only cheese and meat in between the two buns no mayo lettuce or tomatoes. Took it back the manager complained like it was my fault apparently, they want you to accept the food as is and shut up about it.
I have been coming here since I was a kid seeing how I'm from right down the road in the 44 and I've literally gotten the same thing. Well I change up between the three things. I moved away 2 years ago and have missed it ever since. But this place is more than a restaurant it's a lifetime of memories that I'll hold onto forever. BTW the hotdogs are the best you'll ever have trust me on this.
FIRST OF ALL WE tried their Breakfast years ago after Ryans shut down my church group had no place to go.. Mistake Nasty then We tried lunch Buffet... Terrible so we quit eating as a group. Fast forward about 10-11 years I tried them again.. Now must say baked potato rice and gravy and black eyed peas Great! The Beef roast was flattened round pressed something with gravy if you call it! Now I will say they have Great sandwiches and fries but nothing is Home cooked!!
Best place/food in town to buy fast food , excellent service and great prices. They also have friendly staff.
Large Portions. Food was okay. Nice Customer Service. Restaurant was clean.
Their lunch menu was outstanding. Everyone was so welcoming to my husband and I.
