Stopped over in Simpsonville while traveling and decided to try Anthony's Pizzeria, really glad I did. Excellent pizza and friendly, attentive and courteous service.
I ordered 2 slices of veggie pizza, Fettuccine Alfredo & garlic parmesan wings, which were all quite tasty. I appreciate the fact that Anthony's allows the purchase of small portions for first-timers like me. My small family now feels comfortable ordering larger orders. Thanks for the variety.
Their pizza and ravioli was really pretty good however the cheesecake is not juniors cheesecake, I ordered 3 slices for family visiting and they are New Yorkers we were very sad to see the cheesecake wasn’t the juniors famous cake crust. Juniors cheesecake doesn’t have a graham cracker crust it has a cake crust
Pizza is good, staff is friendly. I did like the operation better under the prior owner. They don’t seem to offer specials on pizzas and wouldn’t honor my gift card from before the change in ownership. We would have preferred more cheese on this extra cheese pizza, but it was tasty.
OMG Are you kidding me? I ordered a meatball parm hero, I actually laughed when I saw it! Look, I'm from New York originally with Italian and Cherokee blood. That was No Dang Meatball Parm hero! What they gave me was a joke! Two small breadballs that they cut in have and put one tiny breadball on each side of the "hero" plus it was dry and I honestly could find the Cheese! Parm means with Cheese, plus I had to ask for more sauce. I could've went to Subway and got the same thing! Very Very disappointed, I want to know what happened to The Original Anthony who opened the restaurant years ago? Because these new owners are not about Food Quality!! I will never eat there again, "Sushi Burger 21 sorry for going somewhere else" Only Sushi Burger 21 from now on when I'm off my farm and in Simpsonville!!
This place is about the food and prices are reasonable for the quality. Everything we had was above average and the service was great. There was a waiter walking around the dining room, refilling drinks, saying hello, and taking care of dishes. You order at the counter and wait for your order. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.
Great pizza, wings and Juniors cheese cake. We'll try some other items next time we visit. The restaurant is very clean.
Never a bad experience. Staff is always friendly and enthusiastic. Hard there were new owners but the quality seems to not have slipped at all. The Stromboli is an excellent pick-your-own-"toppings" meal that can feed three to four people. Or two hungry ones!
I have been here many times and the food is really good. From what I've heard from friends the pizza is very close to New York style, though I can neither confirm nor deny, since I have not been to New York and hence have not had New York pizza. The most recent time I went, I got a chicken salad which was really good. Definitely recommend this place for any of the food they have.
