Very nice ppl great food fast service
If there was a zero star for this place, I would give it but here's your 1 star. Walked in at 5am to get a very early breakfast and was told that they weren't taking anymore orders because they were "cleaning up." There was one customer sitting at a table and we were told he was the last customer they were taking an order from. I asked how a 24 hour restaurant can stop taking orders and close? The woman behind the counter replied "we are cleaning up and are not taking anymore orders!" How are you going to stop taking orders to clean up when you've got people heading to work soon? I asked for her name so I could call her manager or a corporate number to complain. She gave me her name, Neesha, and proceeded to tell me to go ahead and complain, "ain't gonna hurt nobody's feelings here! Bye!" Wow, what great employees Waffle House has working at this location! HA!
Messed up my cheese eggs but the hash browns were bomb and it was piping hot. This location has consistently good food after 20yrs of occasional visits and is right off the highway.
We've also had not such a great experience. The rude lady that's at the waffle house , her name is BECKY. she was VERY RUDE. had an unnecessary attitude, also was yelling across the restaurant asking what we wanted. But never brought anything over. We had to hurry up and catch her to ask her for more bitter for grits, before we could get the words out of our mouth , she was sleeping gone by then. So when she got back, weaseled for a clean cup with no grease or ketchup on it soy 88 yr old grandmother could drink her milk. I tried to ask for a refill of water but she was already gone again. She was foul, rotten, snapped our orders at us, literally was making us hurry to get our order, acting like we were such a nuisance, a bother to be at the diner. We were discusted. This Karen -like lady NAMED BECKY NEEDS NOT BE A WAITRESS, shes nOr a social person, she's MISERABLE, she MAKES YLU FEEL SO UNCOMFORTABLE that you have to leave. Never ever ever again. There was NO HOSPITALITY. thank GOD for the cook, the chef TIM was great, he had to tell BECKY to worry about herself, to quit causing ruckus with the Other female waitress that showed up, to stop complaining &yellimg and making a scene. It's normal for Becky to cause problems for everybody, everyday, all day. The workers, the customers. She was so ignorant, &rude to anybody in her way, around her. TIM, again, couldn't have been more great, he started getting our things we were asking for, &still trying to keep up with his cooking. He was so sweet &so nice.
Entered the establishment at 6:30pm on 2/2/22. Two people were inside. A gentleman eating his food and the server sitting behind the counter. We proceeded to go sit down and the server watched us. After about five minutes she yelled across the restaurant but that table was closed. We promptly got up and went and sat down at a table on the opposite side of the restaurant. She walked over and clearly had an attitude. She talked to us like we were bothering her and asked us if we needed menus or what we wanted to drink but was not facing us as she was talking, kind of like she was walking away. We stated we did not need menus and we asked for our beverages. She asked me if I wanted cream for my coffee from across the restaurant, I said yes but she brought the coffee over with no cream. As she’s taking our order, she’s snapping questions at us (asking what we wanted with an attitude) and looking at us like she hated us. So we got up and went to another resturaunt, as we were leaving she kept asking us to stay with anothwe attitude. She rudely yelled “have a great night then” as we left…clearly being sarcastic. I did not catch her name as she was not wearing a name tag but she was an older lady with dark hair and short.
Just went out today early morning at 5:30 and somebody who wasn't working in there stopped me outside and told me that they're done taking orders, while she goes back with another 4 guys into the restaurant. I only saw one staff member from the cookout. Shouldn't be 24/7 if you can't take orders anytime.
LAST time I went there couple weeks ago ordered ALL STAR BREAKFAST. TOGO. GOT HOME FREAKING. CITY HAM I ORDERED OWN IT. WASENT. BUT THEM MFS CHARGE ME FREAKING EGGS WERENT COOK LIKE ITOLD THEM. LUMPS IN THE GRITS. WANT BE BACK
Service was good, food was good, but the coffee pot looks like it's never been cleaned.
I have been to Waffle House many times like most people. I wanted to highlight the great job on a recent visit by the cook with Mr. Tim on his name badge. The restaurant was extremely busy as it was over the Holidays. While we were waiting Mr. Tim noticed my daughter had her head down and asked what was wrong. She said she was hungry. He noticed she was Special Needs and he told her he would get her order to her. He got her some food extremely fast. This is what exemplary service is all about. I think he already had some kind of special shirt on that highlighted his great service. This guy is great and should be example to all. Thank You Mr. Tim.
Well they currently have a waitress and one cook trying to serve the customers who have come in. I have been sitting here for 20 minutes and have not placed an order. We we'll see. Or.. I will leave under a very disappointed visit. To complete my review I am leaving now with absolutely no chance of getting service. Or even acknowledgment.
